Beatles icon Ringo Starr blew fans away with his incredibly youthful appearance at a lively stage show in Nashville recently.

The legendary drummer, 84, took to the stage at The Grand Ole Opry, with a performance of The Fab Four’s Hit, With A Little Help From My Friends – but quickly began trending on X due to his age-defying looks and high octane stage moves.

The star – real name Richard Starkey – was seen jumping around onstage while showing off his impressive vocals, as well as a thick head of hair.

Fans were left gobsmacked over the star being 84-years-old, saying he was ‘aging in reverse’ and even claiming his vocals were even better than his former bandmate Paul McCartney.

One fan wrote: ‘Wow, 84! He must have located the fountain of youth!’

A second typed: ‘I know he’s hitting the hair dye, but it’s still really amazing how healthy he looks after drying out in the late 80s.’

In December,  McCartney delighted fans as he brought Starr on stage at his epic London gig. 

He took to the stage for his Got Back tour at The O2 in Greenwich and invited Ringo, from the audience to join him on drums for hits Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and Helter Skelter.

The pair looked delighted to play together as Paul wrapped his arm around Ringo in a touching moment for fans.

Paul and Ringo’s performance was the first time the old friends have played together in five years, last taking to the stage for Macca’s Freshen Up tour in 2019.

Ringo is married to former Bond girl Barbara Bach. 

The  actress made her name in the 1977 classic The Spy Who Loved Me, in which she depicted glamorous KGB agent Anya Amas, who saves the world and falls in love with the British spy played by Roger Moore.

Barbara has two adult children by her first husband, Italian businessman Augusto Gregorini.

Ringo has three kids of his own by his first spouse, Maureen Starkey. 

Ringo and Barbara married in 1981 and have been going strong ever since.

Ringo, Paul, John Lennon and George Harrison rose to fame as members of the iconic rock band, going on to become the best-selling music act of all time with estimated sales of 600 million units worldwide.

Although they formed in 1960, Ringo was the last to join in 1962, replacing drummer Pete Best who is affectionately referred to as ‘the fifth Beatle’ 

The Beatles achieved 18 UK number one singles and 16 UK number one albums as well as 20 number one Billboard H๏τ 100 hits 

The band received many accolades, including eight Grammy Awards, four Brit Awards, an Academy Award (for Best Original Song Score for the 1970 documentary film Let It Be) and fifteen Ivor Novello Awards.

Lennon was murdered aged 40 by deranged fan Mark David Chapman outside the Dakota building in New York City on December 8. 1980.

The musician was sH๏τ four times, just hours after signing an autograph for Chapman.

Chapman was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison and was denied parole for the 13th time last year.

Harrison died from lung cancer on November 29, 2001 aged 58.
