Cameron Diaz was in mom mode over the weekend as she stepped out with her nearly one-year-old son Cardinal.

It is the first time Diaz has shown off the child in public. In August she pushed the baby in a stroller, but the little one’s face could not be seen. 

The 52-year-old actress — who recently made a stunning return to film — flashed her megawatt smile while carrying the tot on her hip in Santa Barbara.

In addition to baby Cardinal, Cameron also shares daughter Raddix, five, with her husband Benji Madden, 45.

The two stars usually keep a low profile with their kids away from the spotlight.

The Southern California native wore a loose-fitting, ʙuттon-up white shirt with black trousers.

Her signature long blonde locks were styled in a bun set at the nape of her neck, and she added a wide-brimmed black sun hat.

The silver screen siren appeared to go makeup-free and she donned a pair of big, thin-framed eyeglᴀsses.

Cameron and Benji – who wed in 2015 – were last spotted out together in Montecito in early January.

Taking to Instagram last spring, Benji shared the news that the family-of-three turned to four with the addition of their second child.

‘We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our Son, Cardinal Madden,’ the Good Charlotte rock star wrote in a joint post with the silver screen sensation.

And the famously private star added, ‘He is awesome and We are all so happy he is here! For the kids safety and privacy we won’t be posting any pictures – but he’s a really cute.’

The note continued, ‘We are feeling so blessed and grateful. Sending much love from our fam to yours ❤️ Best wishes and Good Afternoon!!⚡️’

Cameron recently revealed that therapy is the spouses’ secret tool in marriage.

Speaking with her brother-in-law Joel Madden on Artist Friendly podcast, she opened up: ‘It’s what we depend on, so you have that commitment to work on it.’

She also noted that the practice keeps her and Benji from doing ‘the same thing over and over.’

‘You can’t be in a marriage and have a family if both people are not 100 percent every day. Nobody can be 99 and the other one be 100,’ the San Diego-bred bombshell stated.

Back in August 2023, Madden shared a rare gushing post on his wife’s August 30 birthday.

He wrote at the time, ‘I’m offline mostly these days, just working, painting, making things and doing family life.

‘But I have grown to like my little tradition of coming back on special occasions to show love to my Queen- so today, it’s a very Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife, best friend, best partner in everything, ride or die, greatest Mom to our little girl, @Avaline wine boss, family chef, advisor, collaborator and everything else.’

The heartfelt message continued, ‘You do it all ❤️So grateful to have our family and I am one lucky man – I know that seems obvious but it really is nice to say it out loud now and then when you’re feeling it.’
