Harrison Ford Chows Down

The Screen Actors Guild Awards were chock full of viral moments as the stars made their presence felt – sometimes by accident.

A dazzling array of celebrities flocked to the Shrine Auditorium in downtown Los Angeles for the ceremony, hosted by Kristen Bell.

A-listers like Timothee Chalamet and Demi Moore took home compeтιтive prizes, while industry legend Jane Fonda won the Life Achievement Award.

But amid the showstopping fashion moments and heartwarming speeches, there were plenty of hilarious instant memes.

From Harrison Ford accidentally upstaging a colleague to Selena Gomez looking unamused at a reminder of her past, fans had plenty to discuss.

Now DailyMail.com unveils the splashiest moments at the SAG Awards…

Harrison Ford accidentally stole the show from his Shrinking co-star Jessica Williams when she delivered a heartfelt speech at the beginning of the broadcast.

The SAG Awards traditionally begins with a roundup of various attendees delivering monologues about their profession, ending with: ‘I am an actor.’

But when Jessica’s turn came to speak, the eyes of the viewers were riveted to Harrison, who was seated not far behind her.

Harrison appeared to initially not realize he was in the sH๏τ, as he blithely shoved a snack into his mouth while Jessica was talking in front of him.

The audience burst into laughter, prompting Jessica to turn around, realize what was happening and join in on the joke, saying: ‘I told him to turn away.’

Jessica proved that she and Harrison have built a playful rapport behind the scenes, as she jokingly snapped at him: ‘Don’t look!’

The Wicked movie was thrown into controversy while it was still being made, when it emerged Ariana Grande had an on-set affair with her married co-star Ethan Slater.

Already a lightning rod of scandal, Ariana did little to increase public sympathy for her when she released the defiant single The Boy Is Mine, which was widely regarded as having been about Ethan.

At the end of last year, when Wicked: Part One finally came out, the furor resurfaced as Ethan’s now ex-wife Lilly Jay went public with her side of the story.

Ever since news broke of their romance, Ethan and Ariana have avoided walking red carpets together even in support of their new movie.

However they made a rare joint public appearance at the SAG Awards this Saturday, meeting up with each other inside the ceremony.

While they appeared happy to see each other, cheerfully chatting, the couple also made the bizarre move of greeting each other by shaking hands.

Kristen Bell won the hearts of SAG Awards viewers with her opening monologue, which was a parody of a song from her most beloved movies, Frozen.

Frozen featured a fan favorite song called Do You Want To Build A Snowman?, which was turned into the awards show spoof Do You Want To Be An Actor?.

As Kristen sang the number, a video montage played behind her, showing the early career roles of many of the stars in attendance.

Jamie Lee Curtis, for example, was seen in the 1978 classic horror movie Halloween, which launched her to stardom all those decades ago.

But when Selena Gomez was shown aged 10 on Barney The Dinosaur, the grown-up Selena, sitting in the audience, appeared far from impressed.

Timothee Chalamet Flubs His Lines

Timothee Chalamet emerged triumphant at the awards show, winning best actor in a motion picture for his turn as Bob Dylan in the biopic A Complete Unknown.

But before his big moment, he wound up hitting a stumbling block, as he flubbed his lines during a pre-written bit with his co-stars.

He and his castmates Monica Barbaro, Elle Fanning and Edward Norton were set to deliver a introduction to their acclaimed movie.

However Timothee wound up flubbing his lines – though he saved the moment by self-effacingly joking that he ‘shoulda done rehearsal.’

The moment quickly circulated on the internet as fans affectionately noted the ease with which he allowed the mistake to roll off his back.

Gillian Anderson And David Duchovny’s Shambles

David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson enjoyed a The X-Files reunion onstage at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Saturday.

Gillian, 56, and David, 64, became household names thanks to their starring roles on the sci-fi drama, which ran from 1993 to 2002.

Now, more than two decades after the series drew to a close, its leads were together again while giving Shogun the prize for best ensemble cast of a drama series.

The pair hilariously fumbled through the task, to the point that a woman could at one point be heard shouting instructions at them from backstage.

One major stumbling block came when they had to name the ‘one thing’ that they both felt was essential to creating a ‘great drama.’

Evidently, the idea was for them to agree that the secret ingredient was ‘a special thing’ they could neither ‘buy’ nor ‘fake’ – but when the time came for them to say what the quality was, they would give different answers simultaneously.

However, a wrench was thrown in the works when David said his answer first: ‘Timing,’ leaving Gillian to awkwardly throw in: ‘Chemistry,’ a few seconds later.

‘We still got it,’ Gillian ᴅᴇᴀᴅpanned, before breaking into a forced smile and saying: ‘Hilarious! It’s hilarious! It was so good. We did that so well.’

David then tried to quickly announce the winner so that he and Gillian could ‘get out of here as soon as we can,’ and made to open the envelope.

Gillian then attempted to haltingly remind him that they had yet to announce any of the nominees, which they were supposed to do before declaring a winner.

Eventually, after a woman backstage was heard bellowing instructions at them, the pair managed to complete their ᴀssignment.

Mikey Madison took the stage that evening to present her rollicking movie Anora, alongside her Russian co-stars Yura Borisov and Mark Eydelshteyn.

That night, Mikey was nominated for her performance as New York stripper Ani in Sean Baker’s Palme d’Or-winning film.

In the film, Ani falls for a Russian oligarch’s dimwitted son – played by Mark – only to wind up on a wild chase across the Big Apple with his boorish handlers, one of whom is played by Yura in a performance that was also nominated at the SAGs.

As Mikey and her co-stars introduced the storyline of the film at the award show, one of the men wound up having a bit of a problem with the teleprompter.

Mark, whose English is limited, delivered one of his prewritten lines and then read the stage direction: ‘Mikey,’ out loud, indicating that the next line was meant to be hers.

The Succession alum took the stage and immediately took a cheeky swipe at Adrien Brody, who was nominated for lead actor in a film that night for The Brutalist.

He began by joking about how heavy the trophy was, quipping that ‘I don’t think there’s any way anyone can hold this for 45 seconds – which is the allotted time, Adrien Brody, 45 seconds.’

As the audience laughed, including Adrien, Kieran clarified: ‘There was no reason to take that sH๏τ. I love you. It’s joke. You take your time. Lord knows I will.’

Demi Moore achieved a crowning moment in her thunderous Hollywood comeback as she won best actress in a motion picture for her body horror film The Substance.

In her touching speech, the 62-year-old looked back on the dawn of her career, when she got her first SAG card in 1978 shortly before she turned 16.

‘It changed my life, because it gave me meaning, it gave me purpose, and it gave me direction, because I was a kid on my own who had no blueprint for life,’ she said

She emotionally confessed: ‘And I certainly knew nothing about acting. But I watched, and I listened and I learned from all of you.’

Paying a moving tribute to her colleagues ᴀssembled in the audience, Demi declared: ‘You have all been my greatest teachers.’

She appeared to be fighting back tears when she recalled being a ‘little girl who didn’t believe in herself,’ making clear how much her peers’ respect meant to her.

‘The words are beyond me, so I’m just going to have to say thank you. Thank you so much,’ she said, before gracefully exiting the stage.
