Olly Murs has been forced to cancel his show in Dubai just hours before he was due on stage.
The singer, 40, was scheduled to perform at Bla Bla Dubai on Friday night, however the star took to Instagram to issue a heartbreaking apology as he revealed he had to pull out due to a throat infection.
The hitmaker penned: ‘To everyone here in Dubai, unfortunately due to doctor’s orders I am having to cancel tonight’s show at Bla-Bla because of a throat infection.
‘I’m so gutted. I look forward to coming back ASAP and will share new date information as soon as I can! Olly x’.
Giving fans an update on Saturday morning, Olly looked unwell as he shared a candid selfie alongside the caption: ‘A man with a broken voice. Gutted Dubai, I’ll be back’.
And it’s not the first time Olly has been forced to cancel a gig after he was unable to open for Take That in Glasgow last May, just minutes before showtime.

The singer, had been keeping fans up to date on Instagram throughout the day as his flight from Heathrow was continually delayed, before eventually being cancelled.
Olly, who was to open for the band at the city’s OVO Hydro for three nights, eventually accepted defeat and was forced to take a car all the way to Scotland in time for Saturday and Sunday’s shows.
His last minute replacement was plucked from a nearby H๏τel bar and obscurity after being spotted by Scottish host Ross King.
Meanwhile Olly shared some exciting career news this week after it was revealed he will join his good friend and long-time Heart Radio presenter Mark Wright for a brand new Saturday Breakfast show, which is set to kick off on March 1.
The show will air from 9am – 12pm, which is a switch-up from Mark’s usual afternoon slot.
Sharing his excitement at the new venture, Mark said: ‘It’s not every day that you get to work with your mate, and I just can’t wait for Olly to join Heart.
‘I just know our listeners are going to love listening to Olly every Saturday morning, and we promise to bring you all the good laughs, fun and banter!’
Meanwhile, Olly added: ‘I’m absolutely buzzing to be sharing my Saturday mornings with Wrighty and the Heart listeners. They’ve actually given us our own radio show – can you believe it?!

Amid the announcement, Mark and Olly took to their respective Instagram accounts to share a humorous clip confirming the big news.
Following their initial excitement at working together, the pair joked about what the name would be for the show, with both arguing that their own name should come first in the тιтle.
The big news was met with a plethora of positive comments from their excited fans, who predicted ‘double trouble’ was on its way.
