Mandy Moore paid a gushing tribute to her son Gus as she marked his fourth birthday in an Instagram post on Thursday.
The 40-year-old actress — who blasted Amazon days ago— penned a heartfelt note to the little boy, whom she shares with husband Taylor Goldsmith, 39.
Sharing with her 5.5 million followers, the former teen pop star uploaded a series of adorable pH๏τos featuring all three of her children.
In addition to Gus, she and Goldsmith are mom and dad to son Ozzie, two, and daughter Lou, five months.
The proud mother wrote, ‘Happy 4th bday to our magic boy. It is so easy to celebrate you every day, Goosey. Your smile and laugh are insanely infectious.’
In reference to the family losing their Los Angeles home in the January wildfires, she added, ‘Your resilience and sense of adventure these last 6 weeks have been both miraculous and a gentle reminder that everything is going to be okay as long as we’re together.’

Elsewhere in the lengthy and heartfelt message, Moore said: ‘You are so tender and gentle with your sister (and brother most of the time- ha). You are always concerned when someone is sick or hurt and want to make them feel better.’
Continuing to list Gus’ attributes, the Hollywood veteran noted, ‘Your curiosity about the world around you keeps us present and on our toes.’

She wrapped up the post, ‘I love you beyond words and am so grateful you chose me to be your mom. We will never stop feeling like the luckiest to love and be loved by you. Happy Birthday, Gus!!’
The This Is Us star also took a moment to give a special shoutout to her husband, calling him ‘the best dad ever.’
She reposted his birthday post to their son, which he shared on his Instagram acount, and added a sweet note.
‘Also shoutout to @taylordawesgoldsmith for being the best dad ever,’ she wrote in capitals letters.
‘We’re so luck to have you too,’ the doting wife and mother typed under a sweet image of their baby boy sleeping.
Goldsmith’s special post read, ‘Being your dad these 4 years has been not only the greatest joy and the most profound experience of my life. It’s also been so much fun. SO MUCH FUN.’

‘I love how you squint and head bang when you like a song. I love how you always wanna help with your baby sister. I love all the nicknames you make up for your friends (Lewis-ba-bewis, Paco-ba-baco, Rio-ba-bio, Asa-ba-basa).
‘I love how you memorize entire books word for word even though you don’t know how to read yet.’
Including in his carousel post was an adorable image of dad and son clutching guitars as the Dawes musician performed.

The unit-of-five is still reeling from the loss of their beloved family home.
Mandy, who has spoken candidly throughout the ordeal, most recently posted about the devastating incident on February 11.

‘We never got an evacuation notice. Sometimes in the quieter moments of processing the last month, I play the game of what would have happened if I didn’t have my phone next to me, playing my typical “piano for deep sleep” mix as I nursed Lou before bed, so I could answer the call from my brother-in-law?’ she reflected.
She added that her brother-in-law had advised Mandy, her husband, and her brood to ‘get out of dodge’ before the flames swept through their neighborhood.
Over 100,000 Los Angeles residents were forced to flee their homes and dozens were confirmed ᴅᴇᴀᴅ as a result of the unprecedented infernos, which began with the Palisades Fire on January 7.
The Eaton Fire burned over 14,000 acres while the Palisades Fire scorched nearly 24,000 acres.
