Khloe Kardashian admitted that she experienced ‘a lot of anxiety’ while attending her ex Tristan Thompson’s basketball game in Cleveland, Ohio, last year. 

On the latest episode of The Kardashians, the reality star, 40, opened up about her mixed feelings over taking her two children, True, six, and Tatum, two, to watch their dad play basketball professionally for the first time. 

While reflecting on the experience during a conversation with Scott Disick, the Good American founder confessed to feeling uneasy about showing her support for Thompson, 33.

‘I did have a lot of anxiety about going. More for like the public’s reaction, which is so lame to say. Because I knew I was going to get filmed,’ she said in a confessional.

The mother-of-two continued: ‘My family, my circle, they know that Tristan and I, we’re not together. But it’s sad that I had a lot of anxiety because of outside noise.’

‘I just didn’t want to hear it anymore. Like, “Oh, she’s going to support her man!” Or whatever people were going to say. It’s like, “Oh my gosh, enough of this,”‘ she explained. ‘But, I also was like, “F**k this, I’m doing this for my kids, I’m doing this for my cousin.” And I’m so happy we all did. We all had the best time.’

Overall, Kardashian raved to Disick, 41, that ‘True had the time of her life’ at ‘her first basketball game ever.’ 

After Disick said it must have been nice for Thompson to see two of his kids at the game, the TV personality agreed and noted that she also brought her cousin, CeCe, who had going to a playoff game on her bucket list.

‘It was such a great experience for my kids. True is 6. She’s old enough, she gets it,’  Kardashian reiterated in her confessional. ‘She’s so proud and she was so excited to see her dad play and just be in that atmosphere.’

When asked by Disick if it was ‘wild’ for True and Tatum to witness all the fans cheering on their father, Kardashian said their little ones ‘were so happy.’

In May 2024, Kardashian brought her kids to watch Thompson’s Cleveland Cavaliers face off against the Boston Celtics in game four of the Easter Conference semifinals. 

She was pictured from behind in the footage as she bypᴀssed the crowds to arrive via a VIP area in the stadium.

In a video shared by Celtics on NBC Sports Boston, Kardashian could be seen greeting her ex with a hug.

The proud dad appeared excited to see his two kids as they joined him in the courtside seats.

Last month, Kardashian confirmed that she was single and not looking to date anyone anytime soon on her new podcast Khloe in Wonder Land. 

Additionally, she stated that she and Thompson ‘co-parent really well.’ 

‘I’ve chosen not to—because I genuinely don’t want to—I’m not dating,’ the star explained. ‘My relationship with my kids just is everything to me.’ 

She added, ‘If I meet someone in two months, two years, and I fall in love—great. But I’m not actively on the dating scene searching for someone, and I’m so happy. I feel so fulfilled.’

As for what she would want in a partner, Khloe said, ‘One that I would want to be around my children and around my family.’

Khloe and Tristan welcomed their daughter True on April 12, 2018, but days prior their world came crashing down due to cheating allegations.

Hours before the Kardashians star was set to give birth, he was caught in an exclusive video kissing another woman at a bar inside a Manhattan club.

At the time, a source said: ‘Khloe carried his child and is much more in the limelight than he is, and she doesn’t think he understands the consequences of his decisions

‘She thinks the cheating scandal is a way bigger deal than he does, and he doesn’t fully understand the repercussions of his actions affecting not only him and Khloé but the entire family as a whole.’

In February 2019, TMZ reported that he cheated again kissing Jordyn Woods, a close family friend. Woods, then best friend of Kylie Jenner, confirmed it in a Red Table Talk.

The socialite gave him a second chance but Tristan went on to father a son, Theo, with Maralee in December of 2021, which came as a bombshell to Khloe and lead to their final break up.

He immediately confirmed he was Theo’s father via Instagram, releasing a brief statement as he claimed to take ‘responsibility’ for impregnating another woman while expecting a second child with Kardashian.

‘I’ve chosen not to—because I genuinely don’t want to—I’m not dating,’ the star explained. ‘My relationship with my kids just is everything to me’ (seen in 2018)

‘I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son,’ he penned.

Tristan and the reality star welcomed their son Tatum via surrogate on July 28, 2022.

The mother-of-two previously revealed that she has no intentions of getting back together with the Cavaliers star saying she’s ‘not attracted’ to him.

Since their split, the ex-couple has been on friendly terms.

‘He did make mistakes,’ Khloe told SHE MD in May, ‘He’s the nicest guy and we get along so well now.’

‘We’re not meant to be together, but he was meant to be the father of these kids. And we do get along so well and I’m really grateful for that because my parents got along so well,’ she admitted about her ex.
