Sami Sheen has revealed her private reaction to her mother Denise Richards launching an OnlyFans page almost immediately after she did.

Denise, 54, shares Sami, 20, and another daughter called Lola, 19, with her world famous ex-husband Charlie Sheen.

Charlie and Denise’s daughters have veered off in opposite directions – while Sami has become a star on the adult website, Lola has been baptized as a Christian.

When Sami got onto OnlyFans aged 18, Charlie publicly criticized her, while Denise leapt to her daughter’s defense and then joined the platform herself.

Now Sami has shared what she really felt behind the scenes when she discovered her mother had followed her onto the website.

‘I wish she’d waited a bit because she started it right after me but it doesn’t bother me,’ Sami confessed in a new interview with People.

Denise also disclosed how she felt about the publicity that Sami received when she first created her account on the popular website.

‘At first, I didn’t understand what OnlyFans was. When I saw that she was getting backlash for owning her Sєxuality and doing what she wanted to do, it upset me as a mom and also as a woman in business,’ said Denise.

While praising her daughter, Denise also took a proud tone with regards to her own OnlyFans, noting that it was ‘quite lucrative.’

Looking back on her decision, Sami said: ‘I really wanted to get an apartment and I knew that working at the candy shop I was working at wasn’t going to cut it. So I went to the next best thing and made an OnlyFans.’

Meanwhile Lola, in spite of her religious convictions, had only supportive words for Sami’s foray onto the website, saying: ‘Whatever makes her happy.’

Sami observed that she and Lola ‘couldn’t be more different,’ while Lola said: ‘I love her. We are just walking in completely different paths and that’s okay.’

Sami launched an OnlyFans account in 2022 after turning 18, and although Charlie publicly disapproved of the move, Denise defended her.

‘I do not condone this,’ Charlie told E! News: ‘but since I’m unable to prevent it, I urged her to keep it classy, creative and not sacrifice her integrity. She is 18 years old now and living with her mother. This did not occur under my roof.’

Denise sH๏τ back to the same outlet: ‘Sami is 18, and this decision wasn’t based on whose house she lives in. All I can do as a parent is guide her and trust her judgement, but she makes her own choices.’

Firing up her Instagram, Denise added: ‘I have to say, I wish I had the confidence my 18 yr old daughter has. And I also can’t be judgmental of her choices. I did Wild Things & Playboy, quite frankly her father shouldn’t be either.’

Denise, Sami and Lola are about to begin appearing on a family reality show along with Denise’s husband Aaron Phypers and their 13-year-old daughter Eloise.

A few years ago Denise, who adopted Eloise in 2011 when she was single, revealed that her youngest child was suffering from a rare chromosomal disorder that ‘has caused a lot of developmental delays for her.’

Now, Denise has said: ‘Eloise is very observant and understands everything. Sometimes when the girls go at each other, she just raises her eyebrows and then they laugh and can get past whatever stupid thing they’re fighting about.’

Aaron adopted Eloise in 2019 after marrying Denise, and reflected: ‘It wasn’t even a decision. It is just is. She’s a sweetheart. I love her. I think of her as my own.’ 

Meanwhile, Denise also has a friendly rapport with Charlie, as well as one of his other ex-wives Brooke Mueller and their 15-year-old twins Bob and Max.

In 2013, Denise stepped in and temporarily cared for Bob and Max after the government took them from Brooke on account of her drug problem. 

‘I’m grateful we were able to help them during that time,’ reflected Denise, who divorced Charlie in the midst of his own substance abuse issues.

Explaining her relationship with her ex-husband now, Denise said: ‘Charlie is always invited to holiday dinners. There’s always an open door and that goes for Brooke and the boys as well. I’m always, the more the merrier. I want everyone to get along and everyone to be peaceful.’

Denise filed for divorce from Charlie in 2005, and during their explosive split she accused him of making death threats against her, shoving her and endangering their children because of his penchant for prosтιтutes and pornography. 

The divorce was finalized in November 2006 with a court order stipulating that other than during supervised visits, Charlie remain 300 feet from Denise and their daughters, according to Access Hollywood. 

Now, Denise has said she ‘did my best to shelter’ Sami and Lola from the tumult of the divorce, but they still went ‘through a lot’ during that time.

‘There were times they were upset with me, but I tell them there’s no handbook. I did the best I could under the circumstances,’ she said.
