It comes as the Love Island couple made a swipe at rivals Elma Pazar, 32, and Sammy Root, 23, following their tense clashes in the villa.
Both couples reached the final of the show. However, they fell short of winning the £50,000 prize as Gabby Allen and Casey O’Gorman were crowned the winners.
Following the finale, the couple spoke with former Love Island contestant Amy Hart on the Love Island: The Morning After podcast.
Addressing tensions with Elma and Sammy, Curtis said: ‘I feel like the situations that went on… I don’t want to say we were in the wrong or the right.’
He continued: ‘But I feel like we weren’t in the wrong.’
Agreeing with Curtis, Ekin added: ‘I’m going to stand by that we were in the right. For me, that was not okay at the time.’
Amy also asked the couple who their closest friends were in the villa to which Ekin-Su highlighted Nas Majeed and Oliver ‘Chuggs’ Wallis as examples.
She added: ‘Catherine and Omar, I think Catherine’s one of my closest girls in here. Gabby, Grace… Elma, I do like but obviously in some situations, in that game thing, you kind of questioned a little bit.’

Before her routine, Ekin-Su promised Elma she would not kiss Sammy. However, the star got slightly carried away as she stamped a smooch on his lips during the challenge.
Throughout the end of the show, the pair engaged in several heated rows and Elma claimed she could ‘forgive’ her pal but would find it hard to ‘forget’ what she had done.
