Mike Boateng and his stunning fiancée made their red carpet debut as a couple at the MOBO Awards in Newcastle on Tuesday. 

The former Love Island star, 29, who starred in the 2020 winter series, has kept his partner’s appearance a secret until now. 

Although Mike is still yet to reveal her name, the former police officer turned reality star looked smitten as he showed off his glamorous partner at the prestigious event. 

Mike dressed smart for the occasion wearing a black turtleneck jumper which he teamed with a structured blazer and tailored trousers. 

His wife-to-be cut a glamorous figure in a glitzy black off-the-shoulder dress which featured a daring split at the leg. 

The beauty added inches to her frame with a pair of black stiletto heels and toted her essentials in a matching mini clutch.

Mike has kept his relationship largely private since going public with his future spouse last summer.

However, at Christmas, the former Islander revealed he had popped the question to his mystery woman.

He shared snaps from the special moment on Instagram alongside an extract from Proverbs 16:3 that read: ‘Commit to the lord whatever you do and he will establish your plans.’

Mike popped the question to his glamorous partner by writing ‘Will you marry me?’ on a dessert plate.

The couple then celebrated the moment with a hug and a final snap featured his wife-to-be holding up a large bouquet of roses as she showed off her diamond ring. 

Mike’s pals flocked to the comment section to congratulate the happy couple, with fellow Islander Biggs Chris writing: ‘Jheeeez congratulations!!!’ 

Geordie Shore’s Nathan Henry said: ‘Congratulations [love heart emojis]’ while Celebrity Big Brother star Lateysha Grace added: ‘Awwwww congratulations both xxx.’ 

Mike appeared on Love Island series six and during his time on the show he coupled up with four different women.

Mike appeared on Love Island series six as one of the original cast members and was coupled up with Priscilla Anyabu, 25. They remained together for 15 months before splitting in July 2021

Arriving as one of the original cast members, he immediately paired up with Leanne Amaning, 27.

He was then stolen by bombshell Jess Gale, 25, before recoupling with Leanne and spending two weeks with her. 

He then coupled up with Sophie Piper, 26, before moving on to Priscilla Anyabu, 25, who he remained with until they were both dumped from the island just days before the finale. 

The couple remained together for 15 months before splitting in July 2021. 

Speaking on Capital XTRA, Mike said at the time: ‘We’re not together anymore. It was never really a bad breakup, in fact, it wasn’t a bad breakup at all, we just had a mature conversation.’ 

He explained: ‘Lockdown was tough for us, didn’t really have a lot of space away from each other, we had a grown-up conversation, like adults, saying in order to save our friendship, maybe we have to take time away as a couple.’ 

‘You never know what’s going to happen in life, but for now yeah, Mike is single.’ 

Mike later returned to the franchise, appearing on the spin-off series, Love Island Games in 2023, however, he only starred in the show for three days.
