The Bachelorette #17 Katie Thurston’s friend Jess Ambrose gave her a very public shout-out of encouragement just two days after she first revealed her shocking breast cancer diagnosis.

‘I don’t have words for how heartbroken and how f***ing enraged I am for her right now,’ the Your Mom & Dad podcaster said Monday.

‘But I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Katie Thurston is going to kick cancer’s a**.’

Jess then asked her ‘incredible community’ of listeners to ‘just flood Katie’s DMs with love and encouragement’ to help with that ‘sense of helplessness.’

Ambrose continued: ‘If you have battled through cancer or if you yourself have a close friend or family member who has gone through cancer, it would mean a lot to us if you would slide into our podcast DMs and let us know ways that we can best support Katie.’

Jess went on to praise the 34-year-old standup comedian for her kindness, consideration, generosity, and strength: ‘The forтιтude that she has is unparalleled.’

‘A lot of people don’t even know to what extent she’s constantly helping people because she doesn’t talk about it,’ Ambrose noted.

Katie was listening and gushed via Instastory: ‘Absolutely honored to have met @thebaddmom who allowed me into her circle of family and friends. Crying listening to this episode and feeling so much graтιтude for everyone in my life right now helping me through it.’

Thurston spent the last two weeks ‘experiencing a range of emotions’ as she eventually accepted the reality of her diagnosis, which she revealed Saturday.

‘I am ready to fight this,’ the Washington State native declared on Instagram.

‘I scheduled appointments for another biopsy, fertility, mental health, surgery, as well as meeting with my team to discuss the overall treatment plan, which will include chemo.’

Katie then hinted that she secretly married her second fiancé Jeff Arcuri by calling him ‘my extraordinary husband.’

‘I don’t know how I’d do this without you,’ Thurston gushed.

‘The selfless love that you smother me in is beyond anything I imagined I’d be blessed with. I love you to the fullest in this lifetime and the next.’

The Bachelor #25 contestant got engaged to the 36-year-old standup comedian on September 15 – five months after meeting online – and she originally planned on moving to his New York City home last month.

‘But instead, my Valentine’s Day was spent coordinating a place to live as I have to go back to LA for more testing and treatment,’ Katie scoffed.

‘I used my morning to figure out insurance for NYC and laws on preexisting conditions.’
