Simone Biles and husband Jonathan Owens tied the knot nearly two years ago.

But the lovebirds — who recently divided fans with their matching outfits — are just now enjoying their honeymoon, with the 27-year-old Olympian sharing outtakes from their trip to South Africa with her online audience.

Biles gave her 12.5 million Instagram followers a look at the couple’s excursion in newly shared content.

In a snapsH๏τ of the pair surrounded by black luggage, Biles wrote, ‘Off to our honeymoon. 2 years later.’ 

Heading out from the US, she posted a selfie of the two sharing a kiss as they sat side-by-side on their flight in first class seats.

Once they landed safely in the gorgeous country, the two were welcomed to their H๏τel suite with champagne.

Biles uploaded an image of them clinking champagne flutes and wrote, ‘Made it to south africa.’

She also posted videos from an exciting guided tour through a wildlife reserve complete with giraffes, leopards, lions, and elephants.

The star athlete wrote along with one outtake featuring an up-close lion, ‘Not gonna lie I almost s*** myself.’

Biles and Owens crossed paths in 2020 and by February 2022 they were engaged to be married.

They tied the knot at the Harris County Courthouse in Houston, Texas in April 2023. 

The courthouse wedding was followed by a second ceremony, where they hosted loved ones in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Jonathan shared one of the things that attracted his wife to him while chatting with Texas Monthly in 2021.

Owens was just as excited as his wife as he shared footage petting an elephant to his Instagram Story

‘I just hadn’t heard of her, and when I told her that, that’s one of the things she liked,’ he revealed at the time. 

The couple just enjoyed a memorable Valentine’s Day together, with Simone using her Instagram platform to post pH๏τos.

She wore a figure-hugging baby pink dress while holding a bouquet of white roses in the snap. 

Her husband took to the comments to write, ‘Had the most amazing day with you,’ with two heart emoji. 

So far in their two-year union, Owens left the Green Bay Packers and signed a two-year free-agent contract with the Chicago Bears. 

And for her part, Biles, competed in the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, where she triumphantly took home three gold medals and one silver prize.
