Spencer Matthews showcased his incredible skills as he hit the slopes amid a lavish getaway with pals to the French Alps on Monday.

The former reality star, 36, pulled off a jaw-dropping backflip mid air after flying down the snow covered mountain.

Spencer looked every inch the sportsman as he kept warm in his padded white snow suit that was printed with polar bears. 

Ensuring he was safe on the picturesque slopes the star also donned a black helmet and tinted goggles. 

One pal captured the moment Spencer flew high into the air and summersaulted before landing onto a huge inflatable mat.

Loving the footage he joked: ‘Submitting to Sundance 2025’.

While wife Vogue, 39, didn’t join him on this trip, the couple did head off on a couples skiing holiday just last month without the kids. 

The couple, who share three children, gushed it was like they were ‘dating again’ after making a a New Year’s Resolution to spend more time just the two of them. 

And the pair looked in great spirits as they beamed in sweet selfies shared to Instagram, gushing over the quality time together Spencer wrote: ‘Time away WITHOUT kids is like when we were first dating. Doing whatever, whenever… LOVELY.’

He added: ‘We miss them though. Home tomorrow’.

It comes after he stunned fans and doubters alike by running 30 sand marathons in 30 days last year, breaking a Guinness World Record in the process.

But Spencer admitted his past hedonistic days indulging in alcohol and causing chaos as the villain in Made In Chelsea often left his parents disappointed.

He told The Mirror that his mother and father, entrepeneur David Matthews and artist Jane Spencer Parker, were not always best pleased with his antics during his younger years. 

He said: ‘There were certainly times in my life where I was pretty far from where I wanted to be and there was a bit of disappointment behind my parents’ eyes from time to time.

‘But, completing the 30 marathons in the desert changed that and a lot in my life.’

Spencer achieved the extraordinary feat in Jordan last August and already has plans to do seven Ironman-style triathlons across seven continents.

He said: ‘Quite a lot of self-loathing that I carried around with me, and quite a lot of shame, just evaporated after the marathons. It’s a very different way of feeling.’

The entrepeneur was well known for his party boy lifestyle but gave up alcohol in 2018, the same year he married Vogue Williams.

He first developed a problem when working as a city trader, drinking five to ten pints every day before taking clients out.

The hard-partying habits made him an attractive prospect for the Made In Chelsea casting team – and he more than delivered in terms of living the playboy lifestyle.

Often seen knocking back the drinks on the successful Channel 4 show, Spencer’s most iconic moment arguably came when he and Louise Thompson had a very public breakup on Putney Bridge.

In one of the most memorable moments of the Channel 4 show the reality TV star turned entrepreneur, now 34, met Louise on Putney Bridge where they ended their relationship in explosive fashion after his infidelity had come to light.

It comes after admitted there was ‘disappointment behind his parents’ eyes’ over his past reality TV work and says he aimed to get their approval by running 30 marathons in 30 days

During the very heated shouting match Spencer said to the now influencer, 34: ‘It’s very hard to respect you when you allow me to cheat on you’.

Reflecting on the scene Spencer explained on Elizabeth Day’s How To Fail podcast last month that he regrets the famous scene, saying: ‘I feel embarrᴀssed about it.’

He added: ‘At the time I was a heavy drinker and there was a change in the wind and our relationship was very toxic at the time and it meant we had a huge screaming match that I really regret.’ 

Spencer and Louise dated on and off for the first few seasons of Made In Chelsea before finally calling it quits in 2013.
