Dancing On Ice viewers all had the same complaint after Charlie Brooks took to the rink on Sunday night – just moments before she was the fifth celebrity to be eliminated from the compeтιтion.
The former EastEnders star and her skating partner Eric Radford showed off their best moves to the 1981 tune Never Too Much to mark 80s week.
The pair certainly impressed judges Ashley Banjo, Oti Mabuse, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean as they awarded them an incredible 24.5 points.
Despite the amazing score, those watching at home took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to point out the same thing about her routine – that she was ‘too safe’ and not doing enough solo skating.
One wrote: ‘Another safe routine but I thought Charlie’s was smoother than Michaela’s.’
Another added: ‘Charlie playing it way too safe, too clingy and not enough solo at all. These all look a bit ‘can’t be a****’ so far.”

A third chimed in: ‘Just me or are the performances very safe and boring ?’
A fourth added: ‘#DancingOnIce used to be so much fun to watch, with really entertaining compeтιтors. It’s very safe, dull & predictable these days.’
‘Ok I do like Charlie. But does she ever not let go to her partner. Seems like she’s holding on for dear life Needs to actually let go and dance solo!,’ a fifth tweeted.
A sixth said: ‘Charlie…as per, no solo skating and boring routine 6.5.’
On Sunday night Charlie was up against Anton Ferdinand in the skate off and she was the celebrity sent home.
But fans accused the judges of ‘overmarking’ the former footballer Anton.
One wrote on X: ‘Okay but Dan had more mistakes than both Charlie and Michaela and it was Vanessa that did all the tricks, he just stayed on two feet for the whole dance…. but sure lets give him 9.5s #DancingOnIce’.

Another wrote: ‘Well the judges will obviously put over marked Anton through. That’s a shame as I do like Charlie. #DancingOnIce.’
A third added: ‘Sorry but Michaela and Charlie’s routines were so much better than Dan’s #dancingonice.’
Charlie is arguably best known for playing Janine Butcher in EastEnders.
The soap star took on the role in 1999 and has returned to the Square a number of times over the years.
Her first stint on the show was between 1994 and 2004.
Charlie returned again between 2008 and 2014, and again between 2021 and 2022.
But that’s not the only programme she’s starred in.
The TV star has appeared in Casualty, Heartbeat, Celebrity Juice and I’m A Celebrity.
Charlie has joined Chris Taylor, Sir Steve Redgrave, Ferne McCann and Chelsee Healey leaving the compeтιтion.
This means that Dan Edgar, Mollie Pearce, Sam Aston, Michaela Strachan and Aston are still battling it out for the top spot.
Dancing On Ice airs on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
