Scarlett Johansson risked an awkward run-in with her ex Ryan Reynolds while attending the SNL 50: The Anniversary Special with her husband Colin Jost.

The 40-year-old actress showed her support for her husband, a longtime Saturday Night Live staff writer, as she joined him on the red carpet at the celebration.

Johansson, who was previously married to Reynolds from 2008 to 2011, arrived at the Rockefeller Plaza in New York City on Sunday alongside Jost, her husband of five years.

Moments later, Reynolds — who was first romantically linked to Green Lantern co-star Blake Lively just a couple months after finalizing his divorce from Johansson — appeared alongside his now-wife. 

His appearance with Lively comes after months of the couple laying low as she has been entangled in legal drama involving her former It Ends With Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni. 

As one of the best dressed stars on the red carpet for the anniversary special, Johansson turned heads in a very low-cut, black midi dress with sparkly embellishments.

The chic dress highlighted her bust with a keyhole cutout, beaded embroidery and straps lined with mᴀssive rhinestones. 

To match the shiny details of the underbust strap detail and beads, she wore metallic silver, sandal heels.

The Black Widow star opted out of any other jewelry besides dainty studs and her dazzling diamond wedding ring. 

She slicked back her blonde hair into a тιԍнт bun and opted for a soft and smoky, monochromatic brown makeup look. 

Both she and her husband looked cheery as they mingled and mixed with guests at the star-studded soirée. 

For the anniversary special, Jost looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo with a satin bowtie.

Reynolds sported a nearly identical suit at the anniversary special as he arrived alongside his partner of over a decade. 

Lively, who has not made a public appearance in over two months amid her ongoing legal drama with Baldoni, also opted for a silver look, like Johansson, for the event.

He also filed $250 million lawsuit against The New York Times over their story, which he claimed only relied on her ‘self-serving narrative.’

The former costars are now entangled in a protracted court battle, which will be taken to court on March 9, 2026.
