Siobhan Fallon Hogan revealed the idenтιтy of an SNL cast member who would go to church and apologize after taking part in raunchy skits on the sketch comedy series. 

The actress, 63 – who previously appeared on Saturday Night Live in the early 90s – recently sat down with Fox News Digital ahead of the show’s 50th anniversary special.

While talking to the outlet, she reflected on having the chance to work alongside a number of comedians during her time on the series such as Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, David Spade, Tim Meadows, Dana Carvey and Rob Schneider. 

Hogan also appeared on the Studio 8H stage with Chris Farley – who pᴀssed away at the age of 33 in December 1997 due to an accidental overdose of cocaine and morphine. 

The late star was known for playing an exaggerated version of himself in a sketch called The Chris Farley Show and also an over-the-top motivational speaker named Matt Foley. 

Siobhan – who starred in 20 episodes from 1991 through 1992 – recalled, ‘We went to Holy Trinity on the Upper West Side. And, you know, everything [at SNL] is nocturnal.’

‘The shows would get out at like 1:30 in the morning, and you go to the parties, and then we’d be at Mᴀss together [the next morning] and he’d look up at heaven and be like, “Sorry. Sorry about that.”‘ 

Hogan also revealed that Farley had shown her the clown’s prayer that is often used for inspiration by comedians. 

It reads: ‘As I stumble through this life, help me to create more laughter than tears, dispense more happiness than gloom, spread more cheer than despair.’

‘Never let me become so indifferent that I will fail to see the wonder in the eyes of a child or the twinkle in the eyes of the aged.’

‘Never let me forget that my total effort is to cheer people, make them happy and forget – at least momentarily – all the unpleasantness in their lives. And, in my final moment, may I hear You whisper: “When you made My people smile, you made Me smile.”‘ 

‘He was really a fabulous Catholic. Such an amazing guy,’ Siobhan – who is also a Catholic – shared. 

Following Farley’s tragic death after his battle with alcohol and drug addiction, a private funeral was held two days before Christmas. 

A number of celebrities were in attendance to pay their respects, including Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, Tim Meadows, Dan Aykroyd, and Bob Odenkirk.

‘You would expect some famous person to go up and speak. And, instead, there was a shut-in that he had visited quite often, and no one knew that. He was just a fantastic person.’

The actress later talked about the 50th anniversary event and expressed, ‘It’s like a high school reunion on steroids. It’s just kind of fabulous. You feel like you’re a part of history.’ 

However, the star admitted that she doesn’t feel SNL is as relevant as it was years earlier. 

‘I think I was [on] in the glory days. I mean, that’s for sure. And, you know, I think when Dana Carvey comes back as Biden, they really shine.’

She continued, ‘I mean, these were really top, top shelf hilarious people that I was on with.’

Earlier this week on Friday, Hogan made an appearance at the SNL 50: Homecoming Concert at Radio City Music Hall (seen above with guest) 

‘And obviously… the two years before that were as superb as the beginning of it was, [when I was] growing up… you just lived to watch SNL. I don’t know if it’s that way anymore.’ 

Earlier this week on Friday, Hogan made an appearance at the SNL 50: Homecoming Concert at Radio City Music Hall. 

She was joined by a guest on the red carpet before the festivities began, and donned an all-black ensemble which was layered with a stylish white coat.
