Drake has been announced as the headliner for Wireless Festival.

The rapper, 38, will make history as the world’s first artist to headline a festival for three nights with three different setlists later this year.

Drake will perform for British festival goers at London’s Finsbury Park for his first UK performance in six years.

The huge North London Festival will take place on Friday July 11, Saturday July 12 and Sunday July 13.

The One Dance hitmaker will headline the main stage each evening for the 20th anniversary of the festival in a deal which is thought to be worth millions.

Also announced today are heavyweight artists Burna Boy, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Summer Walker and Vybz Kartel playing full sets across the weekend.

A source told The Sun: ‘It’s been months in the making and initially no one thought they could pull it off, but Drake is all signed on to headline all three days of Wireless.

‘Bosses are naturally overjoyed and expect tickets to sell out in record time.

‘Exact set lists are still to be worked out but one idea that has been pᴀssed about is that Drake will perform some of his albums in full for the first time.’

It follows after last year’s Wireless festival was headlined by Nicki Minaj, 21 Savage, J Hus and Doja Cat.

The news comes as Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl performance was branded the ‘worst halftime show ever’ by fans – a feat that was celebrated by his rap rival Drake, insiders claim.

Toronto-born Drake and multi Grammy winner Kendrick have been embroiled in a furious rivalry for years, despite collaborating on each other’s records in the early days of their careers.

Drake had desperately tried to prevent Lamar from performing his scathing diss track Not Like Us, in which he refers to the Canadian as a ‘certified pedophile,’ to 83,000 fans at the game.

He had reportedly banned his close friends from watching the set and refused to talk about it.

But despite his failure to veto the track, he was ‘happy’ that viewers tuning in at home were less than impressed by Lamar’s performance.

‘Drake put his friends on a Super Bowl ban and did not tune into the show,’ an insider told DailyMail.com. ‘He was not able to stop Not Like Us from being played and wasn’t happy about it.

‘He knows it resonated with Kendrick’s target audience who have basically exiled him.’

The source added, ‘But he is happy that people weren’t impressed by Kendrick’s performance and is feeling better about his chances of a comeback – even if he does feel that he has lost some of his core fans.’

Despite Drake recently suing his and Kendrick’s record label, Universal Music Group, over the controversial Not Like Us, Kendrick performed the song, but he omitted the accusation.

Lamar made reference to the lawsuit before launching into the track, telling the crowd: ‘I want to perform their favorite song, but you know they love to sue.’

But he did deliver two other controversial lines, including ‘Say Drake, I hear you like them young’ and ‘trying to strike a chord and it’s probably a minor.’

He also wore a big silver chain pendant with a small letter ‘a’, an apparent reference to ‘A minor’ in the lyrics.

Drake and Williams were first romantically linked in 2011 and four years later in 2015, the pair were spotted together on various occasions – such as kissing at a Cincinnati restaurant.

Serena shocked fans as she was spotted Crip Walking when Kendrick performed the song towards the end of his 13-minute set.

The Crip Walk, also known as the C-Walk, is a dance move that was created in the 1970s by first generation Crip members.

Serena first performed the dance back in 2012 when she defeated Maria Sharapova at the Olympics.
