Blanca Blanco spent the day at the beach in Malibu this week.
The Finding Nicole actress was seen in a string ʙικιɴι in ruby red in new images shared with DailyMail.com.
The brunette was showing off her curves after spending the last year on a new diet that involves less carbs, more protein, with meals ending by 5 pm.
The Breaking The Mold author also shared her favorite star she has met during her 20 years in Hollywood and it’s not Brad Pitt whom she chatted with eight years ago.
It is Emilia Perez Oscar nominee Zoe Saldana, whom she met last month in Los Angeles and had a great conversation with on how daring the ground-breaking musical co-starring Selena Gomez is.
‘Brad Pitt was the nicest guy, but I have to say Zoe was so inspiring to speak with, I really liked her,’ Blanca told DailyMail.com. ‘She is so talented and charming. We talked acting and roles.’
Saldana will compete in the Best Supporting Actress category with Monica Barbaro – A Complete Unknown, Ariana Grande – Wicked, Felicity Jones – The Brutalist and Isabella Rossellini – Conclave. The Oscars take place on March 2.

Saldana told Blanco there was a lot of ‘excitement’ around the gritty film Emilia Perez – about a Mexican drug dealer who changes their gender – and she is thrilled about it, in a DailyMail.com exclusive.
‘The performances were excellent and so powerful performances,’ Blanca told DailyMail.com after seeing the movie. ‘And the film offers so much, it is really boundary-pushing.
‘Zoe really does it all, sings, dances, and speaks in both English and Spanish.’
Blanca also posed with the main star of the film, Karla Sofía Gascón. ‘I love being a part of this amazing cast, I loved the experience,’ gushed Karla to Blanca. ‘These women are brilliant.’
After the movie there was a standing ovation. The actors were also seen on stage as Selena introduced the cast.
Selena, who stars on the hit Hulu series Only Murders In The Building, spoke highly of her costars. Selena said, ‘I hope we make you proud’ then she thanked the crew for ‘working tirelessly.’
Meanwhile, her co-star Zoe also stood on stage as she made comments to the audience.

‘We are grateful that you are opening your heart to receiving this film,’ said Saldana.
She was joined on the star-studded red carpet by longtime husband Marco Perego. The two spouses, who have three young sons, shared an affectionate kiss ahead of the premiere. Marco, who hails from Italy, wore a dark, subtly patterned trench coat over a black top, trousers, and boots.
Blanca, who wore a dress by Azazie and heels by YSL, also posed with John Savage of Deerhunter fame.
Blanco is not related to Selena’s fiance Benny Blanco, who was also at the event.
Zoe takes on the role of Rita in the Spanish language film while Selena portrays the character Jessi Del Monte.
The movie is set in Mexico and tells the story of a lawyer who receives ‘an unexpected offer to help a feared cartel boss retire from his business and disappear forever by becoming the woman he’s always dreamed of being,’ according to an IMDb synopsis.

In December, Blanca also spoke with DailyMail.com about how she stays slender during the holidays. Turns out she eats carbs only once a week so that’s a no to pizza, pasta and bagels six days a week
‘That shocks the body,’ said the cover girl who was recently at an Emilia Perez event with pal Zoe Saldana. ‘My body is not used to having a ton of carbs but it is hard to completely cut them out. So if I have carbs once a week my body does not get used to them and can process fast’

This comes after Blanca told DailyMail.com that she would never use the diabetes drug Ozempic for weight loss as she would rather ‘sweat it out at the gym’ instead of rely on the drug.
‘I know Ozempic does wonders for people suffering from Diabetes, it is like a miracle drug for some, but I would not use it for weight loss,’ said Blanca.
‘I don’t judge people who do that, I know it’s incredibly challenging to lose weight. It’s just not for me because I feel I can diet and exercise to stay at the weight I want.
‘But I also have to admit that I am lucky, my metabolism is pretty fast, so I have it easier than a lot of people. Everyone has to do what is right for them and just be healthy first and foremost.’
Staying in shape is important to the actress as she tells DailyMail.com she has learned a new way to work out.
She does strength training instead of intense cardio – and she does it at home as well as the gym.

‘As we get older, we lose muscle mᴀss; that’s called sarcopenia. So it is important to keep muscle mᴀss up,’ she told DailyMail.com.
Sarcopenia is a condition that causes a progressive loss of muscle mᴀss, strength, and quality in older adults.
‘When you maintain muscle mᴀss then you not only look better but you move better and your risk for injury is lower.’
She added: ‘So I have been focusing on mobility, strength, and stability. It is so easy to do, I keep free weights at home and at the gym I use the machines. It is a must for me now.’
She also lost 10lbs earlier this year by giving up meat and is instead eating fish and chicken.
‘I think it is has been really good for my waistline because my dresses are all loose now!’ she told DailyMail.com. ‘And I don’t miss the steaks which can be too heavy sometimes.’
