Love Island: All Stars have reportedly axed the show’s PDA Awards, after it caused huge drama in the villa last year.
The game saw Islanders presented with various awards, including Most Sneaky All Star and Most Salty All Star, which led to a string of arguments when the winners took to the podium to give their speeches.
The segment has had various names during its time on the show, and had also been known as Movie Night and the Grafties.
But sources are now claiming that bosses are planning a whole new twist ahead of the All Stars final on Monday.
An insider told The Sun: ‘This series of All Stars has ditched the PDA awards, which caused loads of bad blood in the villa last year and got fans complaining to Ofcom.
‘PDA Awards replaced Movie Night and The Grafties, both popular challenges in the main series, but for this second round of All Stars, show bosses didn’t want to repeat themselves.

“But even though there won’t be anything like the PDAs or movie night, there are lots of surprises and unexpected twists and turns in store for the final days of the series.’
MailOnline has contacted representatives for Love Island for comment.
Love Island’s main series has regularly had Movie Night as a fixture on the show, with the game causing rows aplenty as it exposed how some of the Islanders really felt about each other.
It also led to a string of Ofcom complaints in July 2024, with most being in relation Nicole Samuel’s atтιтude towards her now-ex Ciaran Davies.
Both were seen second guessing their relationship with Ciaran unimpressed over Nicole referring to him as childish.
‘You just pulled me up on my biggest insecurity, that I told you,’ he told her, to which she said he was ‘giving child’.
‘It’s one thing for me, one thing for you,’ he said.
Getting angrier, Nicole replied: ‘Was there any clips of me on there getting with any boys, or being interested in any boys, or saying things with any boys?’

‘What? Because I kissed Emma in a game?’ Ciaran asked.
Fans were left furious by the scenes with some taking to X to tell Ciaran to dump Nicole after the argument.

On Wednesday, viewers saw the most dramatic row in the All Stars villa yet, with Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Elma Pazar, after the latter told Curtis Pritchard to ‘shut the f**k up.’
While the other Islanders watched on, Ekin-Su said she felt there’s been a weird grudge from Elma since the Heart Rate Challenge, where she playfully kissed Sammy Root, before apologising.
She told her: ‘I’m sick of it and I’m just frustrated, I’ve been quiet for days..I’m telling you exactly how I feel, you’ve had something against me since the heart rate challenge, let it go.’
But Elma hit back: ‘Did we not sort it out the other day? You’re getting on my nerves,’ before Ekin-Su insisted she needed to ‘let it go.’
As Elma stormed off telling her to ‘shut her mouth,’ Ekin-Su shouted she ‘couldn’t hear stupid language,’ leading Sammy to tell her to ‘chill out,’ and berate her for her choice of words.
Love Island: All Stars continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
