Selma Blair recounted a date from the past with Robbie Williams during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show.

Unfortunately, the meet up did not go too well. 

She explained that they were at her home and the Better Man star, 51, opened her refrigerator.

‘Robbie Williams was over my house and it was like almost a date, a million years ago, a million,’ the Cruel Intentions star, 52, began. 

‘And he opens up my refrigerator and he’s like, “I gotta go” and I heard from the friend I’m like, “Why did he leave so abruptly?”

‘It’s like, “Oh, your kitchen was empty and he knew you don’t cook, so that wasn’t gonna work for him.”

‘Bravo to him for knowing he needed a tummy filled from his woman,’ Blair remarked.

She continued, ‘It’s like 30 years ago. I probably, had like a bottle of champagne and like a fig Newton in the fridge from a year ago.

‘So he judged accurately that I wasn’t the one that was gonna nourish him.’ 

The E.T. star laughed at Selma’s story and said, ‘There’s also DoorDash,’ to which Blair responded, ‘There wasn’t at the time. This was like 30 years ago, probably.’

‘I haven’t given up on romance, but I’m not knowing how to try,’ Blair told Barrymore. 

Selma also discussed her heartbreaking MS relapse during a candid chat on Tuesday’s Drew Barrymore Show.

The actress was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2018, said during a past relapse she ‘didn’t want to face’ her health condition and even stopped seeing doctors.

She said: ‘I did have a relapse and I didn’t, even really want to face that.

‘So the first thing I had to do was to find a doctor again because I had stopped seeing doctors because I thought I was fine but then I didn’t feel fine it turned out I did have a relapse and so I, I found a doctor that could, really listen to me and it was a female doctor and that really helped me just so many different things I wasn’t aware of.

‘So this is just to encourage people to start talking about it.’

Selma’s 2021 documentary Introducing Selma Blair went in depth about her diagnosis and treatment. 

‘It was a really hard time in my life,’ she told People at the time. ‘People don’t say how excruciating, emotionally, it can be to kind of prove you’re not well. But I want to tell the truth about MS. It is important to me that people see what living with a chronic illness is like.” 

Blair went through a risky two-month hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) in 2019 in order to try and jumpstart her immune system.

The treatment was to get her symptoms under control.

Speaking in a video update to Us Weekly, she said: ‘Hi. So a lot of people have been asking me how I am doing so great and my movement is so much different, and I really am excited.

‘I want to let people know that — I’m still in remission, I’m feeling great — after the bone marrow transplant, I actually fell into a major relapse.

The star also explained that an MRI ‘lit up flare’ and showed ‘new lesions’ so she had to find a new doctor.

But she felt lucky to have found a ‘great one’ who put her on an ‘amazing’ journey with medication.

She added: ‘Thank God I found a great one here in West Hollywood, Dr. Berkovich. ‘It was just tablets. 

‘So I took that, a couple short series of tablets, and in two years your therapy is done. It’s called Mavenclad. 

‘It’s been amazing and it helped my movement and speech so much, and it’s allowed me to have a great summer, great years.’
