Leo Woodall put on a loved-up display with his girlfriend Meghann Fahy in a rare joint outing at a Bridget Jones screening in New York on Wednesday night.

The One Day actor, 28, cosied up to The Bold Type star Meghann, 34, inside the event after skipping walking the red carpet with his earlier in the night.

Leo plays Bridget’s (Renée Zellweger) younger love interest Roxster in Mad About the Boy but in real life is in a relationship with Meghann.

The pair –  who met filming the series The White Lotus in 2022 – couldn’t keep their hands off each other as they laughed away at the screening.

Meghann looked stunning in a shimmering gold dress which she wore with a black belt and white leather bag. 

Leo meanwhile cut a smart figure in a brown pinstripe suit which he wore with a white shirt.

It comes after earlier this week Leo shut down questions about his love life while in Australia on the Bridget Jones promo tour.

Journalist Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli was left red-faced on Tuesday when Leo snapped at him during an interview after the Nova radio star asked him about his love life.

The breakfast host, 45, was chatting to Leo and his Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy star co-star Renee about their new movie – and the subject quickly turned to their personal lives.

Leo is notoriously private about his romance with Meghann.  

‘Leo, are you in love at the moment?’ Wippa asked.

‘That’s none of your business!’ Leo snapped back.

However, Wippa was able to get more out of the film’s star Renée, who is in a relationship with English TV star Ant Anstead.

‘Renée, I put you down as someone who would have done a lot of “we’re just good friends”. Kind of playing hard to get, isn’t it?’ Wippa joked. 

‘I do have a lot of good friends! They sort of just start in friend zone,’ she responded.

The upcoming fourth Bridget Jones movie explores a romance between the тιтle character and a much younger man, played by Leo.

Leo recently said he was pleased to see age gap relationships depicted on screen – especially where the woman is the elder of the pair. 

‘When two people find the connection, why shouldn’t they see where it goes without judgment?’ he recently told Stellar Magazine.

‘Both dynamics should be equally normalised. It’s a good thing that we’re getting the reverse. 

‘Because it’s not uncommon – it’s just not portrayed much in movies.’

Leo and Meghann met in February 2022 on the Sicily set of Mike White’s drama anthology series The White Lotus, in which they portrayed Cameron Sullivan’s (Theo James) stay-at-home wife Daphne and Quentin’s (Tom Hollander) cheeky nephew Jack.

Meghann finally went Instagram official with Leo on February 20 2023 while he shared intimate ‘That’s Amore’ snaps of them as far back as September 2022.

The pair were first pictured packing on the PDA during a November 2023 outing in New York City in pictured captured by E! News.

On January 15, the nepo-baby of Andrew Woodall affectionately embraced the Emmy-nominated actress during Max’s Post Emmys Reception at San Vicente Bungalows in West Hollywood.

Meghann then publicly flirted with Leo on March 5 by commenting on his BTS Instagram post: ‘I’ll say it again Leo for president.’

Woodall bashfully replied: ‘Oh go on then.’

The One Day heartthrob publicly flirted with Fahy on September 6 by commenting on her Marie Claire fashion spread, ‘Momma I made it,’ and she replied: ‘@leowoodall all 4 u.’
