Take That are reportedly set to headline Formula 1’s first ever all-team launch event next week, as bosses line up a string of big names for the show.
F1 75 Live will see all ten racing teams, including Aston Martin, Ferrari, Mercedes, McLaren and Red Bull, unveiling their drivers and new liveries at London’s O2 Arena, as part of celebrations to mark 75 years since the inception of the sport.
Sources are now revealing that the band, consisting of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald will take to the stage to perform a medley of their biggest hits.
It will also come just days after the band take to the stage at the EE BAFTA Film Awards on Sunday.
A source told The Sun: ‘Formula 1 fans are in for a mᴀssive treat at the O2.
‘Not only will they be seeing the cars and drivers up close, but Take That will be playing. There are some other big-name stars booked, too.

‘It is the first time in Formula 1 history that they’ve put on an event like this and it’s all to celebrate 75 years of the sport.’
This new Formula One season will also see Lewis Hamilton make his debut with Ferrari, after he sensationally left Mercedes at the end of the 2024 season.
Lewis is currently on pre-season testing with his new team in Barcelona ahead of his maiden season with the record Constructors championship winners.
The new Formula One season gets underway in Bahrain on February 26.
Take That have performed as a trio since 2014, when Jason Orange quit the band, after he admitted he had wanted out of the group for some time and had no desire to commit to recording and promoting a new album.
With Robbie also having exited the group in 1995, Gary, Mark and Howard continued as a successful trio.
Take That first returned to the music scene as a four-piece after a ten-year hiatus in 2006, but Jason was the only member of the band to steer clear of the music scene during their decade long break.
The group had another break and performed for the first time in four years at King Charles III’s Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle back in May 2023, however Jason didn’t reunite with his fellow band members.

Mark told The Times in June 2023: ‘I think [Jason] felt like he didn’t want to do it any more, but I’m not going to speak for him’.
Before going on to say: ‘He’s still here anyway. The other day we were trying to work out who the best joke-teller in the band is and remembered how Jason always laughed before he got to the punchline’.
Front man Gary previously told The Sun: ‘Jason isn’t coming back. Take That is Mark, Howard and me for the next few years.’
In 2018, Howard revealed that Jason had stopped responding to calls after going completely gone off the grid to live a ‘normal life’ in the countryside.
He told The Mirror: ‘Jason has gone off the grid. He’s not taking emails or phone calls or stuff like that. That’s good for him,’ he told the Loose Women panel.
‘That’s where he wants to be. I think he wants to be a million miles away from this at the moment.’
