The One Show descended into chaos as Alex Jones and Vernon Kay were forced to issue an apology after a guest swore twice live on air.
Alex, 47, and Vernon, 50, were back on the iconic green sofa on Wednesday evening, welcoming dynamic duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, along with stars Naomi Ackie and Toni Collette.
However chaos ensued when Toni showcased her unique toaster impression to Ant and Dec.
Before demonstrating her quirky skill, the actress, 52, exclaimed, ‘S**t, I can’t believe I’m doing this.’
This prompted an immediate apology from hosts Vernon and Alex for her ‘potty mouth.’
But Toni couldn’t help herself, repeating the expletive and sending Ant, Dec, and Naomi into fits of laughter.

Wednesday’s episode already took an awkward turn early on after host Alex’s earring made a break for it and clattered onto the studio floor while her and Vernon were teasing the upcoming segments.
Addressing viewers at home, Alex said: ‘My earring just fell out, sorry’ while Vernon quickly retrieved the errant jewellery piece.
The hosts maintained their composure like true pros, smoothly transitioning to Watchdog’s Matt Allwright for the latest news updates.

The Little Britain funnyman quipped: ‘I was at school with Keir Starmer, yeah. And he gave me a detention. It was Christmas time and it was really cold and he turned off the heating.’
