Daisy May Cooper is reportedly engaged to her boyfriend Anthony Huggins after a whirlwind romance.

The couple, who met on the dating app Hinge, welcomed their first child together, son Benji, in June, a year after they first moved in together.

Now, sources have revealed that Daisy, 38, and Anthony, 46, are ‘madly in love’ with each other and have told loved ones they’re set to tie the knot.

The This Country star also appeared to let slip the news in a post on Instagram Stories, where she referred to Anthony as ‘her fiancé.’

In a video promoting her BBC series Am I Being Unreasonable, Daisy told fans her ‘fit fiance and baby daddy’ Anthony would make a cameo in the show. 

An insider told The Sun: ‘Daisy and Anthony are madly in love with each other and are a success story for dating apps.

‘Their relationship has gone from strength to strength and already have a baby boy together.

‘It felt the natural step for them both, and their friends and family are made up for them.’

A representative for Daisy declined to comment when contacted by the publication. MailOnline has contacted representatives for comment.

Anthony, who has two children from a previous relationship, is a DJ on the Bristol night scene and plays club shows under the moniker ‘Fuse One’.

Daisy also has two children, daughter Pip, seven, and son Jack, four, with her ex-husband Will Weston.

After welcoming her son Benji last year, the actress revealed she doesn’t want anymore children after her ‘terrible experience’ with childbirth.

She told Closer: ‘No way, Oh my God. It was terrible. It was so scary having him seven weeks premature.

‘I don’t think I’ve quite processed it. It’s one of those things that five years down the line I’ll think… “F***, how did we get through that?”‘

The TV star admitted that the little one is ‘fine now’ but jokingly called him a ‘miserable b******’.

Meanwhile, the Am I Being Unreasonable? star also gave an update on her ‘mad’ but ‘amazing’ time since giving birth, and how she managed new family dynamics.

She added: ‘My partner Ant has got two kids from his previous relationship, and obviously I’ve got two kids. They get on so well and Benji connects all of the children because they’re all brothers and sisters.’

Daisy and Anthony met after matching on Hinge. They were first seen together attending a car boot sale in Cheltenham, but the TV BAFTA Awards were their first notable public appearance as a couple in May. 

She previously told Fabulous Magazine: ‘Now I understand a relationship shouldn’t be rowing at 3am, then walking out and turning your phone off.

‘That’s not what love is. Love is being able to live together on a day-to-day basis, enjoying each other’s company, being completely yourself and having that accepted.

‘He doesn’t want to compete with me. He earns £1,500 a month and he’s the sweetest, kindest, most chilled-out man.’

She spoke about her romance on the Katie Price podcast: ‘I’m with the same guy I’ve been with for a year and he’s so f****** good for me.

‘He’s so calming and it’s made me realise that I can actually be a f****** good partner, if I have a nice partner in return, if he’s not trying to f****** control me, or compete with me or put me down.’

The actress started dating the chef in December 2021 after she split from her husband Will in July 2021 after two years of marriage.

During their whirlwind romance, Daisy got Ryan’s name tattooed on her finger and the pair sparked engagement rumours in March 2022 when she wore a ring on her wedding finger.
