Kansas City-native Paul Rudd clearly took the Super Bowl 2025 loss hard after the Philadelphia Eagles dominated his beloved Kansas City Chiefs. 

Earlier that Sunday, the 55-year-old Ant-Man actor seemed in high spirits, enjoying the pre-game festivities with his lookalike son, Jack, 18.

The adorable father-son duo flashed their mega-watt smiles as they posed together on the field of the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, both rocking Chiefs jerseys after walking onto the field with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

But by halftime, it was clear Paul was feeling the weight of the Chiefs’ scoreless first half, as the Eagles piled on enough points to nearly seal the win.

In viral videos, the Clueless star could be seen holding his head in his hands with a somber expression, only to clutch his head again as the Eagles scored another touchdown.

Rudd got a bit of good news later as Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce helped the Chiefs score 22 points, but it wasn’t enough to surpᴀss the Eagles’ 40-point total.

He was spotted with comedian Jeff Ross at the 2025 Fanatics party at New Orleans venue The Sugar Mill on Saturday.

The Clueless star flew in from Australia for the big game. He’s been Down Under with Jack Black filming their remake of Anaconda. 

Rudd and Black are filming the upcoming action comedy which is a reboot of the famed 1997 horror film about a giant species of man eating snake.

The two comic actors shared that the new production will be a departure from the original thriller which starred Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson and Ice Cube. 

Set in the Amazon, the first film centered on a group of filmmakers who encounter a giant anaconda.

Taking to social media with their own cheeky trailer earlier this month, the pair of funnymen gave fans a taste of what they can look forward to.

Black and Rudd appear to be holding back laughter throughout the short clip which the School of Rock star says was ‘made on his phone.’

After announcing their starring roles in the new blockbuster, Black joked about the film’s тιтle, saying, ‘It might be “The Anaconda”…Whatever, there’s gonna be a big f***ing snake and it’s gonna rip.’

Rudd then added: ‘You wanna get scared ? You wanna laugh? You wanna celebrate with your friends? Or maybe you’re sad and have nobody, but just wanna forget about that? It’s coming out on Christmas in 2025.’

The father-son duo were rooting on Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs to win over Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles

Both gentlemen were clad in Chiefs gear as they took in the pre-game festivities from the field level at Caesar’s Super Dome

Paul has been enjoying the Super Bowl festivities. He was spotted with comedian Jeff Ross at the 2025 Fanatics party at New Orleans venue The Sugar Mill on Saturday, February 8

During the trailer the pair confirmed that the Anaconda reboot is set to hit cinemas on Christmas Day 2025.

Black finishes the trailer, which appears to be filmed in a studio, by turning to his co-star. 

‘Dude have you seen the snake? It’s in that room right there. They’re about to feed it a donkey. Come on,’ he frantically says.

The rain forests of Queensland will stand in for the film’s setting which is the Amazon jungle. 

The new Anaconda follows the mishaps a group of friends facing midlife crises  encounter in the jungle as they attempt to film a new version of a movie they enjoyed when they were younger, per Variety.

‘We gotta kill that snake, and the snake inside,’ Black sings. 

‘Gotta kill it. We’re gonna break its neck and cook it a the stove. And when we bring that snake back home, we’re gonna have ourselves a movie.’

Thandie Newton, Steve Zahn, Selton Mello and Daniela Melchior will join Black and Rudd in the new movie.

Rudd next stars alongside Jenna Ortega in the comedy-horror Death of a Unicorn.

The film is about a father and daughter who accidentally hit and kill a unicorn while en route to a weekend retreat.

His billionaire boss then seeks to exploit the creature’s miraculous curative properties. 

Along with Rudd and Ortega, the film stars Will Pouter, Téa Leoni and Richard E. Grant.
