The Hollywood heavyweights were at the 24th Annual AARP Movies for Grownups Awards in Beverly Hills.
The Colors actors was seen with the A list beauty in the entrance way to the Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons H๏τel.
They were arm in arm as they smiled for the camera at the splashy annual event that also saw Jane Seymour and John Stamos as guests.
The two have a link.
Moore is good friends with his ex-wife Madonna, whom Penn was wed to from 1985 until 1989.
Their other link as they both starred in the 1989 film We’re No Angels which also included Robert De Niro.

The ceremony was hosted by Alan Cumming at the Beverly Wilshire H๏τel – and the show will later be broadcast by PBS on Great Performances later this month on February 23, according to ᴅᴇᴀᴅline.
AARP’s event ‘has championed movies for grownups, by grownups, by advocating for the 50-plus audience, fighting industry ageism and encouraging films and TV shows that resonate with older viewers,’ per the official website.
Moore glowed wearing a black dress that clung to her frame and contained shimmering, silver details scattered throughout the material.
The gown fell down past her ankles and was held up with sparkling silver straps that wrapped around her shoulders.
Demi slipped into a pair of open-toed, black heels to coincide with the color scheme of her red carpet look.
The star’s long, dark hair was parted in the middle, and effortlessly flowed down straight past her shoulders.
She opted for minimal accessories to allow the outfit to be the main focal point, and added a dazzling silver bracelet on her left wrist and flashy rings on each of her hands.

Moore’s makeup was classically done, and comprised of a layer of mascara to her lashes as well as a light shadow around her eyes.
A warm blush was added to her cheekbones for a radiant glow, while a glossy peach-colored tint was worn on her lips for a finishing touch.
The Ghost actress paused for a brief pH๏τo session upon arriving to the venue – and later accepted the win for Best Actress for her role in The Substance.
Just one day earlier, the beauty also received the Critics Choice Award for Best Actress on Friday.
She gave an inspirational acceptance speech and expressed on stage, ‘When I started the journey of this film, I could never imagine being here. This is so far beyond anything that I could have hoped for.’

Demi also added that, ‘for anybody out there who is still on their journey, still struggling to find their way trying to get a script made or whatever it is that you do.’
‘Just because it hasn’t happened, doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. So just stick with it and know that dreams do come true.’
Last month in January, she also garnered a Golden Globe for Best Actress – and gave a moving speech as she recalled how a producer had once called her a ‘popcorn actress’ in the past.

The premise of the movie is: ‘A fading celebrity takes a black-market drug: a cell-replicating substance that temporarily creates a younger, better version of herself,’ per IMDB.

Foster donned a semi-sheer, black dress that was secured with a belt that was tied around her waist.

Jodie opted for a dainty, silver necklace as well as mini earrings and a bracelet on her left wrist.
