Pete Davidson showed off his bare arms, now nearly entirely removed of his tattoo sleeves, at a pre-Super Bowl party on Saturday.

While attending Michael Rubin’s Fanatics bash in New Orleans ahead of Super Bowl LIX, the comedian, 31, wore a short-sleeved shirt to reveal the results of his tattoo removal.

He previously began the lengthy and expensive process of erasing the ink on his arms over four years ago amid his sobriety journey.

Since he started the process, Davidson reportedly spent over $200,000 on the many laser tattoo removal sessions.

And he plans to keep going as he recently revealed he wants to remove all of his ink removed before turning 40 in nine years.

For the star-studded party at The Sugar Mill, the Saturday Night Live alum put on a casual display in a light blue Staten Island FerryHawks graphic T-shirt.

He carried a black backpack and also flashed a gold pendant necklace and watch. 

As he posed for pH๏τos on the red carpet, he had a drink in his hand from the iconic French Market coffee shop and a cigar in the other. 

At the bash, he posed for a pH๏τo alongside former basketball player Jalen Rose.

The King of Staten Island Star, who has been romantically linked to Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian and Madelyn Cline in the past, once estimated he had over 200 tattoos.

Earlier this week, he spoke about his tattoo removal process as he reunited with his friend and former Saturday Night Live costar Seth Meyers on Thursday’s episode of Late Night. 

On the talk show, Davidson admitted that he does not know how long removing all of his tattoos will take but said he hopes to complete the process in under 10 years. 

‘No, I didn’t realize it would take — like, when I’m 40, it’ll all be gone, like the chest and the back,’ Davidson told Meyers when the talk show host asked about getting his ink erased.

Then, Davidson clarified that each tattoo takes multiple visits with several weeks in between for the healing process. 

‘It’s at least seven visits,’ Davidson explained. ‘And if it’s black and white, it’s a little easier. But if it’s a color tattoo, it takes forever.’ 

When Meyers asked if there was a particular piece of body art he was glad to be rid of, the comedian said he wanted to remove ‘all of them.’ 

‘Well, I made a lot of those decisions when, you know, before rehab. So I got the dumbest tattoos,’ he admitted. 

When asked about some of his worst ones in his opinion, Davidson replied: ‘I got a collection of cartoons smoking a blunt.’ 

He said there was one of The Muppets along with ‘the Tootsie Pop owl,’ which he said was ‘weird because I wasn’t old enough to be around for that commercial.’ 

Regarding the tattoos, a source claimed last week that Davidson had ‘just woke up one day and wanted them gone, and it’s been a years-long process.’ 

Davidson, who ‘has been sober since September and gained twenty pounds,’ opted to remove his tattoos as a ‘fresh start,’ a second insider shared. 

‘Things are really going well for him,’ the source said about the actor, who stars in the new film Dog Man.

‘Everything is moving in the right direction, and he’s been receiving fantastic reviews for the movie.’ 

And on Friday, Davidson made an appearance on the Today show and opened up about the excruciating tattoo removal process. 

He described it as ‘pretty terrible’ and shared a warning to people interested in getting inked themselves. 

‘So if anybody out there is watching and thinking about getting a tattoo, make sure you really want to get it,’ he said as he showed off the now-faded body art on his arm. ‘It’s pretty gone.’ 

The actor began the removal process in 2020 and previously revealed that getting sober sparked his desire for a full transformation including in his appearance. 

‘I got sober and I saw myself in the mirror, and I was like, “Nah. Who that?” I was like, “I got to change it up a little bit.”‘
