Kyle Walker has reportedly developed a new secret obsession – olives – as he swaps nights out for a much quieter routine.

The football star, 33, is said to be indulging in them as he embraces life in Italy, seemingly distancing himself from his marital troubles with wife Annie Kilner back in the UK.

Now on loan at AC Milan, the former Man City captain – who fathered two children with ex Lauryn Goodman – is enjoying a reserved lifestyle as of late.

Staying in a luxurious suite at a five-star H๏τel where rooms go for £2,000 a night, Kyle has reportedly been spotted enjoying olives at the H๏τel bar before heading to bed for an early night.

Following AC Milan’s victory over AS Roma in the Coppa Italia quarter-final on Wednesday, the defender is said to have skipped celebrations and gone straight back to his H๏τel.

One staff member at the Melia H๏τel told the publication: ‘When I think of Walker I think of olives. He just loves eating olives.

‘He comes to the bar often. He doesn’t drink beer or anything like that. I’ve only seen him with a friend he hangs out with. I don’t know what is going on behind the door in his room but he is behaving by the looks of things.’

It comes after it was reported that Annie turned down a £750,000 offer to appear on Celebrity Big Brother this year.

The wife of wayward footballer is understood to be ITV’s ‘top target’ for the show, which will start filming this spring.

But Annie, 33, has told friends that she is ruling it out, at least in part because son Rezon, nine months, is not yet one-year old and CBB runs over three weeks of filming.

TV bosses are keen to secure Annie as she’s not yet told her side of the story over husband Kyle, who has had two children with influencer Lauryn.

Representatives for Annie and Kyle were contacted for comment.

Elsewhere, it was reported that Lauryn is set to move to Italy next week in order to be closer to Kyle.

It seems Lauryn has followed through, with a source telling The Sun: ‘Lauryn wants to be as accommodating as she can. She always wants to do the best for her children.

‘Lauryn was happy when Kyle signed for Italy as Saudi would’ve been a bit too far and would feel more final, but Italy was a stone’s throw away.

‘It felt a lot closer than her commute to Cheshire with how busy the roads can be… Lauryn is excited for new adventures with her children.’

It marks a U-turn from Lauryn’s past remarks, who last week claimed she ‘wished’ to have the option to relocate abroad after being embroiled in an affair and ‘intrusive’ court case with the footballer.

The family court showdown saw her slammed for ‘treating the footballer as an open-ended check book’ by the judge as she insisted ‘I’ll never give up on my kids’.

In an interview with The Mirror on Saturday, Lauryn addressed her plans, admitting ‘Kyle could be on Mars’ for all she cares.

She explained: ‘For the last year I wished to have the option to move abroad because, with all of the drama, I’d like a life reset, but I’m not sure how that looks for us at the minute or what that entails.

‘It makes no difference to me where [Kyle] is, he could be on Mars right now for all I care.’

MailOnline contacted Lauryn’s representatives for comment.

Lauryn’s supposed move could cause more issues between Annie and Kyle – who have four children of their own – sons Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, Reign, five, and nine-month-old baby Rezon.

The couple were said to be planning to ‘put things behind them’ after their marriage was nearly destroyed last year when Kyle was revealed to be the father of both of Lauryn’s children.

A source told MailOnline: ‘This is a good opportunity to put things behind them and make a go of it as a family unit. It will be a challenge in a new country, but they are willing to give it a go.’

Last year, Annie filed for divorce and kicking the footballer out of the family home in Cheshire, after she discovered he had secretly fathered a second child with Lauryn.

An insider said: ‘The couple are committed to keeping their family as united as possible and protecting their four boys from any fallout.

‘They enjoyed Christmas together, as a family, and continue to work on their own relationship but as yet no decisions have been made.’

‘They would love time and peace away from the spotlight and rumours to be able to continue working on things behind the scenes,’ they added.

Now, friends of the couple have said that their marriage is ‘as bad as it’s ever been’ after the footballer failed to discuss his AC Milan move with Annie.

The pair allegedly ‘couldn’t bring themselves to say goodbye to one another’ before the footballer jetted off to Milan.

Annie had initially been set to arrive in Italy last month with their sons, before being delayed first by the stormy weather and then by the fresh row.

The WAG eventually relented and flew out from Manchester City on a private jet with her children to meet Kyle for his AC Milan debut.

While hopes were rising for a fresh start in Milan as a family, friends have said all is not what it seems as Annie is still contemplating joining him.

A friend reportedly told The Sun: ‘That’s how strained things are at the moment. It’s as bad as it’s ever been.

‘He didn’t even sit her down and discuss moving to Italy. He just said “I’m going, it’s up to you if you come with me”.

‘They’re not in a great place and are barely talking. It’s still unclear if Annie will actually join him permanently in Italy.

‘Everything is up in the air but, then again, it’s been like this ever since the scandal was exposed.’
