Mark-Paul has ditched his golden locks, which were inspired by Vanilla Ice’s frosty tips, and embraced his naturally thick dark brown hair.
He admitted he dyed his hair to play Zack Morris back in 2015.
‘People think, “Oh, that’s your natural hair color” – it was not. That was color by Clairol,’ Paul told Jimmy Fallon as the host held up a picture of the actor sporting blonde hair.
‘That is not natural, guys, you can see the brown going through’, he added.
NBC’s Saved By The Bell became a fan favorite when it first aired in the US in 1989.
After airing every Saturday morning, the sitcom soon became a channel flagship and had several spin-off shows during the 90s.

Despite being an actor for more than 40 years, Gosselaar still feels he has more to experience.
‘I still feel like I have so much left to learn. Every time I walk on a set, I learn something,’ he told Newsweek.
Mark-Paul is currently starring in NBC’s Found, which just had its season two premiere.
Gosselaar plays Sir, a man held captive by Gabi (played by Shanola Hampton), the adult woman his character kidnapped as a child.
‘In any given year, more than 600,000 people are reported missing in the U.S. More than half that number are people of color that the country seems to forget about,’ a synopis for the show begins.

‘But unbeknownst to anyone, this everyday hero is hiding a chilling secret of her own.’
Mark-Paul credits his longevity in Hollywood to the fact that he doesn’t do many Hollywood things.
‘I think one of the reasons why I’ve had longevity in this industry is that I do my work and not much else in the industry. I live outside of Los Angeles.

‘I consider myself a husband first and a family man and then, oh yeah, I do this thing called acting. And I really enjoy what I do for a living, it’s just never been my idenтιтy.’
He added that even when he was a child actor, he played roles that were an escape for him.
‘I’m always looking for something to challenge me. I’m always looking for something that when I read it, I become a bit anxious about playing that role. If it’s something that I read and I go, “I’ve done that before,” I don’t find that as interesting.’
But one thing Gosselaar feels about his career is graтιтude.
‘I feel extremely honored that I’ve been able to do the things that I’ve done,’ he said.
