Netflix viewers are obsessed with a new medical drama on the streaming platform, rating it ’10/10′.

The Trauma Code: Heroes On Call launched on Netflix last month and has already caused an excited buzz among fans of the show.

It stars Choo Young Woo as Yang Jae-won, Ha Young as Cheon Jang-mi and Ju Ji-Hoon as Baek Gang-hyeok.

The Korean hospital drama follows trauma surgeon Baek Gang-hyeok as he works to transform his team of medics.

Viewers have already binge-watched the entire eight-episode series and have begged for a second instalment.

Some have taken to social media to share their verdicts on the show, and one posted on X: ‘Done watching #Traumacode Love all the characters in the drama.’

While one fan dished out their verdict: ‘#traumacode 10/10 no doubt.’

It comes after Netflix viewers shared their excitement about another medical drama late last year.

They buzzed over The Resident, a six-season medical drama that’s quickly becoming a fan favourite among binge-watchers – with many claiming they are ‘hooked’ as they beg for a revival.

Originally airing from 2018 to 2023, the show follows the lives of the medical team at Chastain Park Memorial Hospital, diving into their on-the-job crisis’s, tangled love lives, and moral conflicts.

At the heart of the series is Dr. Conrad Hawkins, played by Matt Czuchry, a charming yet rebellious senior resident who knows exactly how to bend the hospital rules.

Paired with nervous new resident Dr. Devon Pravesh (Manish Dayal), the show draws viewers into a world where every diagnosis, procedure, and emergency holds the potential for life-changing outcomes.

The series, created by Amy Holden Jones, Hayley Schore, and Roshan Sethi, has earned a respectable 75% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

The medical drama is also being widely compared to Grey’s Anatomy, the longstanding medical drama that’s spanned 21 seasons.

In popular discussion groups, such as Netflix Bangers on Facebook, viewers are eagerly sharing their newfound love for The Resident.

The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call is available to stream on Netflix.
