The 27-year-old influencer took to TikTok on Wednesday to share her woes and warn others of the little-known, rare side effect of the procedure
She took off her shades and revealed that her eyelid was drooping down and her eye ‘won’t open’ properly.
The former British Army Medical Corp questioned: ‘Why me? My eye doesn’t open, my eyelid has drooped and I don’t want to be seen out in public. I think it wears off in like two to three weeks but guys, why me?
‘This isn’t right. I actually do think the world’s worst luck when it comes to things like this, that’s why I just don’t bother.
‘I don’t bother with my lips, don’t bother with my face, because it just always, always, always goes wrong.’
Zoe warned: ‘It wasn’t a risk that I was aware of, it wasn’t something that I knew could ever happen.
‘If you’re thinking about getting Botox, there is a 1% chance that this could happen to you. It’s happened to me.’
She wrote in her caption: ‘You can’t write it honestly.if you don’t laugh you’ll cry, thank god it wears off.’
Professionals have previously spoken out about how Botox in the forehead can cause the eyelids to droop if it’s administered incorrectly.
Aesthetic nurse Amanda Azzopardi explained: ‘If you inject the forehead muscle too low then the toxin will diffuse into the orbicularis oculi muscle which circles the eye and it can cause eyelid ptosis (droopy eyes)’.

The British ᴀssociation of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) explains that this eyelid drooping only occurs in one in 100 cases and it can be corrected with eyedrops and will improve as the effects of Botox wears off, which can take three to four months.
Zoe’s famous sister Molly-Mae has faced her own issues with fillers and Botox, and celebrated being ‘injection free’ in June 2024.
The former Love Island contestant, 25, has been documenting getting her fillers removed since 2020, and has spoken about how ‘blessed’ she feels that she able to ‘fix’ the excessive amount of filler she put into her face.
Molly-Mae previously admitted she didn’t recognise herself by the time she had reached the age of 21, having had a variety of cosmetic procedures done.
She has now had her lip and jaw filler dissolved and her composite bonding veneers removed, saying she was ‘terrified of herself’ when she looked at past pictures.
Speaking on her Instagram Story, the TV personality excitedly said she’s ‘come a long way’ on her ‘filler journey.’
Molly-Mae explained: ‘The other day I was actually having a moment of reflection on my filler journey and I realise I haven’t had filler now in coming up to five years, well over four years.
‘I haven’t had any filler put into my face which if you remember my filler debacle, my filler scandal it’s quite, not an achievement but it’s quite a journey to reflect on really. It’s been so long.’

Speaking in May last year, she said she looked five years younger after getting her lip and jaw filler dissolved
Promoting a new product by L’oreal, she added: ‘I’ve fallen in love with a new skincare product recently and I truly feel like it’s down to products like these that have helped me on this journey and steered me away from injectables.’
Molly-Mae first had her lips injected when she was just 18-years-old and said this sparked a ‘vicious circle’ of topping up the treatment.
Speaking in May 2023, she said she looked five years younger after getting her lip and jaw filler dissolved.
She said on The Diary Of A CEO with Steven Bartlett podcast: ‘I wouldn’t say I got addicted to it, but by the age of 21, I didn’t look like the same person.
‘I literally looked like a different person. When I look back at pictures now, I’m terrified of myself. I’m like, “Who was that girl?” I don’t know what happened.
‘But there was this one pivotal moment where I’d gone and got loads of filler and I posted a YouTube video and I hadn’t let the filler settle and it was really swollen and a screensH๏τ from that video, it trended on Twitter for weeks.’
The influencer continued: ‘It was horrendous. It was utterly horrendous. My face was literally like, it was just awful. That was the moment for me as well where I was like, I think things need to change.
‘I thought, one day I’m going to get my lips dissolved. It was a process. I went and got my lips dissolved and I posted about it on YouTube and I didn’t expect the response that I got. It was huge.’
She explained: ‘The minute I started to reverse my image and dissolve the filler and dissolve my lips – I actually had a full set of composite bonding on my teeth, I had them removed as well.
Molly-Mae previously admitted she regrets getting filler at the tender age of 18, joking it left her looking like she had ‘jowls’
Posting a video to her YouTube channel back in October 2020 documenting her journey Molly-Mae explained that she had been receiving filler since she was 18 (left in 2019, right in 2021)
‘I literally took it to the extreme and I just stripped myself back and weirdly, I felt the prettiest I’d ever felt, once it had all gone.
‘I feel like I’d dropped about five years off my age and it was like, it was a really, really significant moment for me.
‘I didn’t realise how much respect that would get me. I didn’t do it for respect, I did it for myself. I didn’t do it for anyone else, I did it because I knew that I needed to.’
However, in December, Molly revealed she gets Botox injections as she took viewers along with her in her YouTube vlog.
The Love Islander headed to KLNIK in Cheshire, the £30 million clinic led by Dr. Rosh, as she joked she is ‘getting old’ and needs Botox in both her forehead and on her crow’s feet.
The reality star admitted she doesn’t want to ‘encourage or push’ Botox on her young female audience.
Chatting from the car, Molly told fans: ‘I am actually this morning at a Botox appointment.
‘It’s not something that I would want to ever talk about too heavily as it isn’t something that I want to encourage or push.

Zooming the camera in on her forehead, Molly showcased her frown lines as she furrowed her brow
‘I know I have a lot of young girls that watch my channel so it’s the kind of territory that I avoid talking about but I also want to be transparent about the fact that I sometimes get Botox.’
Zooming the camera in on her forehead, Molly then showcased her frown lines as she furrowed her brow.
She added: ‘This isn’t even bad. I’ve just always had quite a liney forehead so I just get a bit of Botox in my forehead so that my makeup sits smoother.
‘I find when my lines come back my makeup just gets so creased on my forehead and when I am doing pH๏τoshoots I just really like having a very smooth forehead.’
Molly-Mae also revealed that this time she was also opting for some in her crow’s feet as she admitted she is smiling so much since having Bambi.
She explained: ‘I think I might be having a bit of Botox in my crows feet because ever since having Bambi I just smile so much more which is an amazing problem to have.
‘They never used to be there! I am getting old! I am getting old!’
