Teresa Giudice is sharing how she really feels about ex-husband Joe Giudice.

Speaking on the Undressed with Pol’ and Patrick podcast, the 52-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey star said Joe, also 52, was ‘never the one.’

The Giudices share four daughters from their 20-year marriage: Gia, 23, Gabriella, 20, Milania, 19, and Audriana, 15. ‘We made beautiful babies together, but that’s about it,’ the cookbook author said during her guest spot.

Teresa is now married to Luis ‘Louie’ Ruelas, 52, whom she wed in 2022 and referred to on the podcast episode as her ‘twin flame.’

She praised her new husband, calling him ‘attentive,’ something she said her ex Joe never was.

Shortly after her comments, Joe shared with TMZ that he agrees with his ex-wife’s statements, proving there are no hard feelings between them.

‘She’s right,’ the businessman said. ‘I worked all day. So I would come home and she would take care of the kids.’

He also said he was more ‘old school,’ often spending more time with the reality TV personality’s late father Giacinto Gorga than with her.

‘We would hang out at night in bed a little bit when we went to bed,’ he explained of his marriage and lack of quality time with Teresa.

Despite noting that the exes used to go on dinner dates once a week, Joe reiterated, ‘She’s right. I mean that pretty much sums it up about what it was.’ 

Teresa and Joe each served time behind bars for financial fraud. 

Following his completed prison sentence in 2019, Joe was deported to Italy. That same year the couple announced their separation.

And they finalized their divorce in September 2020.

These days the two have found common ground in co-parenting their brood of girls.

Teresa proved that there’s no bad blood between the former spouses as she promoted her ex-husband’s upcoming celebrity boxing match.

Joe told the outlet about his past relationship with Teresa, ‘It’s water under the bridge at this point. We still get along. We still coparent. We do what we gotta do — and that’s the most important thing.’

And he said that he’s happy that his ex-wife has found love with Ruelas.

Joe is set to fight Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband Ojani Noa on February 8 in Nᴀssau, Bahamas, where he now resides.
