A Gogglebox star revealed their shock hospital dash in a social media post on Tuesday.

Tom Malone Senior shared a snap of his mystery injury to the family’s Instagram feed as fans expressed their concerns.

Tom, his wife Julie and son their Tom Malone Jr have appeared on the Channel 4 show since 2014 and are fan favourites. 

He was seen in a hospital bed in the post as he looked down at his dressing but did not clarify what had happened.

He penned in the caption: ‘Woke up with a nappy as a dressing ,was caught off guard when the nurse said she had to change my nappy!

‘Grateful to our NHS, top notch care Thank you, home now !!!!’

Tom didn’t share what had happened but his post was greeted by messages of support from fans.

They wrote underneath: ‘Oh gosh what on earth have you been up to, get well soon.’,

‘Omg Tom what have you done? Get well soon.’,

‘Oh no!!! Hope you are ok? Glad you are home now though looking forward to seeing you all back on Gogglebox wishing you a good recovery.’

Dave and Shirley from Gogglebox added: ‘Get well soon mate love Dave and Shirley xx.’

It comes after last month his son Tom Malone Jr went public with his new girlfriend as he shared sweet video.

Announcing his happy news to TikTok, the TV personality, 31, introduced Jahmiah Simpson to his followers.

Tom split from his ex Bryony Briscoe last year, after dating the PrettyLittleThing model for three years.

He was later linked to Saffron Barker after they attended a New Years Eve party in a matching fancy dress costumes but she later confirmed they were just friends. 

In the video, Tom responded to one of his followers questions and dubbed the clip: ‘This week, a H๏τ new bombshell enters the villa.’

Jahmiah was the seen jumping into his arms and wrapping her legs around his waist for a hug.

In January 2023 Tom’s ex-girlfriend Bryony Briscoe confirmed that they had gone their separate ways. 

The clarification on their break-up came after he unfollowed her on Instagram. 

The family are fan favourites on the Channel 4 show

He had previously sparked rumours that they had separated when he revealed that he had moved back to Manchester from Leeds.

The Gogglebox star started dating the PrettyLittleThing model in 2020, and the couple even moved in together in Leeds.

Tom and Bryony previously lived together and regularly shared content with each other on social media. 

Saffron and Tom both took part in The Real Dirty Dancing which aired on E4 last year where they got to know each other.
