Sabrina Carpenter announced the deluxe version of her album Short ‘N Sweet and sent fans into a melt down as it was revealed there will be a collaboration with Dolly Parton.
The 25-year-old hitmaker – who reunited with Miley Cyrus at the Grammy Awards – took to social media to reveal the track list for the upcoming re-release featuring the name of the 79-year-old country legend.
The two will be featured on a new version of Sabrina’s hit track Please, Please, Please and many fans took to X (formally Twitter) to react to the news which led to Dolly trending and panic ensuing.
On user shared video of Beyonce’s viral reaction to her winning Best Country Album at the Grammys with the caption: ‘When you see Dolly Parton is trending but realize she’s still alive and she’s just doing a collab with Sabrina Carpenter.’
As a recently deceased celebrity name is often the reason for it trending, others also expressed their relief that this was news about a collab instead of something more grim.
Someone posted a .GIF of Denzel Washington touching his chest and laughing with the caption: ‘Me seeing Dolly Parton is trending because of Sabrina Carpenter and not because of something else.’
