Miles Teller’s wife Keleigh Sperry is a close friend of Taylor Swift, but the two ride or die pals have a difference of opinion when it comes to who they’re pulling for to win the Super Bowl. 

Swift, 35, will be showing her support for boyfriend Travis Kelce, 35, who is a star player on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Sperry, 32, who along with Teller supported the Chiefs last year in Swift’s suite, will be on the opposite side of the stadium February 9.

‘She’s a diehard Birds fan,’ Teller, 37, told People of his wife’s pᴀssion for the Philadelphia Eagles while promoting his new thriller The Gorge. 

‘Thankfully, when I was at the Chiefs’ last Super Bowl, they weren’t playing the Eagles,’ the Top Gun: Maverick star told the publication.

For the upcoming game, Teller admitted, ‘I’m going to be in a sea of green.’

Teller looked quite dapper Tuesday morning as he headed in to the Today show studios to talk about his upcoming Apple TV+ thriller, where he also admitted he was ‘diehard Philadelphia fan’ as well.

He was styled in a dark navy blue jacket and sweater with matching navy blue slacks and black ankle boots.  

Pointing to the puppy for adoption Taylor-Joy was holding in her lap, he spoke for the shy canine saying, ‘Poseidon is a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan. He said it’s going to be a close one, but he thinks it’s 31-27 birds.’ 

Teller, who lost his home in the Palisades fire, which swept through the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles gave an update on his situation. 

‘We’re doing all right, it’s my wife and I right now, he said, adding, ‘I was in the process of moving my grandma out to California with me, so she was in the house, everyone is safe.’

Referring to the FireAid benefit concert which took place on January 30, the actor said the stories shared that evening, showed there’s so many people and each story is different.’

‘It’s just sad that that whole area, that zip code is pretty much gone. There’s really nothing left and so … it’s truly day-by-day for us.’

He and Anya Taylor-Joy, 28, visited the set to promote their upcoming Apple TV+ project, The Gorge, which debuts on the streamer on Valentine’s day. The actress described it as a ‘love story under tension’

He and Taylor-Joy, who are long time friends, are playing unlikely romantic partners in The Gorge. 

The actress described it as a ‘love story under tension,’ in that they were both ᴀssignment to prevent creatures living in the deep canyon from getting out, and are stationed on opposite sides of the ravine. 

Even though they really didn’t have any scenes together until the end, the two pals decided they would attend each day of production, even if they were not going to be on camera.  

Teller gave an update on his situation after he and Sperry lost their home in the Palisades fire. ‘There’s really nothing left and so … it’s truly day-by-day for us,’ he said

‘We ended up going in every single day and watching each other’s coverage until we meet,’ Taylor-Joy said. The thriller debuts on Apple TV+ on Valentine’s day.  

The two met via their agent and mutual friends. 

‘She was somebody for me who I was always fascinated by and I would ask my agent, “How is Anya? What is Anya like? How’s she doing?”‘ Teller explained.

Later in the day, Teller was spotted stepping out in a more casual look, donning a cream and brown plaid shirt with the same pants and boots. He wore dark sunglᴀsses as he strolled through the Soho area

‘Since then her and my wife have be come very good friends,’ he said, with his co-star adding that Teller had hit it off with her husband, musician Malcolm McRae. 

Later in the day, Teller was spotted stepping out in a more casual look, donning a cream and brown plaid shirt with the same pants and boots.
