In college, he played college basketball at University of New Hampshire before going pro.
Among his career highlights is winning a gold medal with Team USA as a basketball player at the 18th Maccabiah Games in 2009 in Israel.

DiLiegro has made the transition from athletics to acting and will appear in the new Netflix series Running Point with Kate Hudson. The series will debut February 27 (Pictured in Los Angeles in January)
DiLiegro, who is six-foot-eight, holds USA, Italian, and Israeli citizenship and currently resides in Los Angeles.
The former athlete has been successfully trying his hand at acting, and currently working on a project called Cons, according to his page on IMDB.com.
The documentary co-starring The Last Thing He Told Me star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau looks at the world of comic cons and their promoters.
He will also appear in Running Point on Netflix starring Kate Hudson. In the series, which debuts February 27, Hudson stars as recently appointed president of the fictional LA Waves basketball team, and DiLiegro takes on the role of a character named Badrag Knauss.
