The 22-year-old singer captivated viewers across the nation with his vocals and dance moves — which included an impressive flip off a piano.
However, there was another focal point in the stage show that had internet users talking… his jarring crotch grabs.
Taking to Instagram after the history-making show, which also featured performances from Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga, and Shakira, Boone apologized for forcefully adjusting himself.
Sharing an up-close selfie with his 3.7 million Instagram followers, the music artist wrote, ‘Sorry for adjusting my jumpsuit so aggressively on stage tonight.’
He added about his chest-baring ensemble, ‘That thing was extremely restricting in certain areas.’

Ahead of his performance, Boone told People on the Grammys red carpet that there was ‘a lot of energy flowing through my body right now.’

‘I’m doing really good. As you can tell there’s a lot of energy flowing through my body right now. This is very crazy for me,’ he said.
And the Washington native added: ‘There’s a lot of cool people here. I’m really excited to perform. I’m kind of like… crapping my pants right now.’
In regard to his path to the music industry’s biggest night of the year, he shared, ‘In between four-and-a-half and five years ago I discovered I could sing.
‘Ever since then I do it every day. It’s like my greatest pᴀssion and I’m just happy that I could make a living out of it.’
He previously told the outlet back in 2023 about his music background, ‘The only musical thing I’d ever do is we had family dinner every night and we’d clean up the kitchen and listen to old ’70s music after.’
