Annie Kilner was spotted jetting back to the UK today with her boys after they supported her husband Kyle Walker during his AC Milan debut in Italy.

The WAG, 33, was pictured heading to the airport in Milan with the couple’s youngest son, Rezon, nine months, in a baby carrier. Her other sons were not pictured. 

The trip to watch Kyle, 34, play for his new team is said to have brought fresh hopes for a future together in the European city, following his loan move to the club.

While all is not completely forgiven, MailOnline can reveal that the boys are excited about a potential new adventure and Annie wants to support Kyle’s career.

Annie and her sons returned to England so the boys didn’t miss school, while Kyle remains in Milan to train for his upcoming game.

The former Manchester City star will be based there for the foreseeable, but he will be making trips home when his football schedule allows.

The couple are making positive steps in their relationship and they are moving forward slowly.

A source told us: ‘They want to make it work, for the boys in particular and hope that Milan will bring them a new path.’

Following take off in Milan, a private jet was later seen landing in Manchester as the family arrived back on English soil.

Annie arrived in Italy with her and Kyle’s four children last week to watch the footballer play for AC Milan.

The England international has joined the Serie A giants from Manchester City until the end of the season.

It had been reported that Annie would be staying at home for the debut, as  she chose to celebrate her friend’s 40th birthday instead after an alleged row with Kyle.

Annie had initially been set to arrive in Italy last weekend with their sons, Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, Reign, five, and Rezon, before being delayed first by the stormy weather and then by a fresh row.

Although it at first appeared that Kyle’s partner was not in the crowd to cheer him on, which caused confusion, friends of the couple have said Annie ‘chose a low key entrance into the stadium’.

Friends of the couple told MailOnline: ‘Annie and the boys were in the stands to support Kyle as he made his first appearance on the pitch. 

‘They have spent the weekend in Milan, enjoying family time together, checking out the local H๏τspots and getting to know the area.

‘The focus today was purely on the game and – as such – the family chose a low key entrance into the stadium via the back doors. It was a big day for Kyle, who made a huge impression an explosive first appearance with his new team.

‘The media spotlight around their personal life has been intense and not something they invite in, particularly where their children are involved as they want to protect them as much as possible.’ 

It was previously reported last week that Annie had decided to travel to Milan in a private jet with the children to support the move and the family appeared to be in great spirits as they were spotted at the Melia Milano H๏τel on Saturday.

However, Annie is expected to remain in the UK with the children until their living situation in Italy is sorted.

Before flying out, mother-of-four Annie made sure to stick to her original plans and attend her friends birthday celebrations.

But the WAG is said to be ‘sick and tired’ of dropping everything for her husband and was notably absent during his unveiling in Milan last week.

She has instead been pictured enjoying various events at home, keeping her followers updated by sharing pH๏τos to Instagram.

Tensions were said to have risen between the pair over the rumours that the footballer’s ex-mistress Lauryn Goodman could move to Italy too, with her and Kyle’s two children.

A source told MailOnline: ‘This is a good opportunity to put things behind them and make a go of it as a family unit. It will be a challenge in a new country, but they are willing to give it a go.’

Last year, Annie filed for divorce and kicking the footballer out of the family home in Cheshire, after she discovered he had secretly fathered a second child with his ex-Lauryn.

An insider said: ‘The couple are committed to keeping their family as united as possible and protecting their four boys from any fallout.

‘They enjoyed Christmas together, as a family, and continue to work on their own relationship but as yet no decisions have been made.’

They added: ‘They would love time and peace away from the spotlight and rumours to be able to continue working on things behind the scenes.’

Meanwhile, Lauryn has admitted how she ‘wished’ to have the option to relocate abroad after being embroiled in an affair and ‘intrusive’ court case with the footballer.

The family court showdown saw her slammed for ‘treating the footballer as an open-ended check book’ by the judge as she insisted ‘I’ll never give up on my kids.’

In an interview with The Mirror on Saturday, Lauryn addressed her plans, admitting ‘Kyle could be on Mars’ for all she cares.

She explained: ‘For the last year I wished to have the option to move abroad because, with all of the drama, I’d like a life reset, but I’m not sure how that looks for us at the minute or what that entails.

‘It makes no difference to me where [Kyle] is, he could be on Mars right now for all I care.’
