Grammy’s 2025 fans have hailed the ‘full circle’ moment at Sunday’s ceremony which saw Taylor Swift award Beyoncé with an award on stage, while Kanye west was dramatically booted out.

15 years ago, Kanye famously interrupted Taylor at the 2009 VMA Awards during her victory speech for the Best Female Video award for You Belong With Me, which had been nominated against Beyoncé’s Single Ladies.

Kanye emerged on the stage and took the microphone from Taylor, telling her, ‘Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’mma let you finish. But Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all-time! One of the best videos of all-time.’

Later in the ceremony, after winning Video Of The Year, Beyoncé invited Taylor on stage to have her ‘moment’ and finish her speech, with Taylor gong on to call the touching gesture ‘classy’. 

And during this weekend’s Grammy ceremony at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Taylor and Beyoncé once again shared a touching on stage moment as the Shake It Off hitmaker awarded the music icon with the Best Country album for Cowboy Carter.

Meanwhile, earlier in the evening, Kanye and wife Bianca Censori – who were not invited to the awards – were asked to leave the ceremony following Bianca’s shocking ɴuᴅᴇ red carpet stunt.

Talking to X amid the events, fans remarked on the ‘full circle’ moment as they remarked Kanye’s removal was ‘karma’ after what he did to Taylor all those years ago.

‘Sweet victory! Taylor giving Beyonce a Grammy and Kanye being banned from the show. Karma’

Following Kanye’s awkward VMAs moment with Taylor, the musical stars appeared to be on better terms in the years following, having been pictured at a number of events in the years.

However, things blew up after the release of Kanye’s 2016 song Famous.

Kanye claimed at the time that Taylor had given him her blessing to refer to her as a ‘B****’ in the lyrics of the song, in a reference to the VMAs incident. 

Taylor said she never made such an agreement, leading to a public feud with Kanye after he and his former wife Kim Kardashian in July of 2016 released a call Kanye and Taylor had over the contents of the Famous song.

Elsewhere, the sweet moment with Beyoncé and Taylor – who had earlier showed a major show of support to Jay Z – certainly cemented her longtime friendship with the couple, who’ve continued to remain friendly with her amid her ongoing feud with their pal Kanye.

She looked in disbelief as Taylor announced her as the winner and looked back at her daughter Blue Ivy and husband Jay-Z, who were instantly on their feet applauding.

The family appeared to be in high spirits as they were pictured together throughout the evening.

In one snap, Beyonce lovingly looked up at her husband as she wrapped her arm around him within the crowd. 

The singer said during her acceptance speech: ‘Oh, my god. Wow. I really was not expecting this. Wow. I want to thank god. Oh, my god. That I am able to still do what I love after so many years. Oh, my god. I would like to thank all of the incredible country artists that accepted this album. We work so hard on it. 

‘I think sometimes, genre is a cold word to keep us in our place as artists, and I just want to encourage people to do what they’re pᴀssionate about. And to stay persistent. Wow.’

Elsewhere, In a night of shocks and snubs, Beyoncé finally won her first Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards just 12 months after her husband Jay-Z had an epic public tantrum about her being overlooked by the Record.

Beyoncé who took home the top prize for her on Cowboy Carter as she triumphed over:  André 3000 – New Blue Sun, Sabrina Carpenter – Short n’ Sweet, Charli xcx – Brat,  Jacob Collier – Djesse Vol 4, Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft, Chappell Roan – The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, and Taylor Swift – The Tortured Poets Department. 

In a special moment, Beyoncé was presented the honor by several members of the Los Angeles Fire Department. 

She was joined on stage by Blue Ivy as she began her acceptance speech by acknowledging them for their courage as she said: ‘I’d like to thank and acknowledge and praise all the firefighters for keeping us safe. 

‘I just feel very full and very honored. It’s been many, many years. And I just want to thank the Grammys, every songwriter, every collaborator, every producer, all of the hard work. 

‘I want to dedicate this to Ms. Martell, and just keep pushing forward, opening doors. God bless. Thank you so much. Thank you.’ 

The ‘Ms. Martell’ Beyonce was referring to is a Black country music pioneer named Linda Martell whose work was featured on the star’s eighth studio album.

This comes just a year after Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z used his acceptance speech at last year’s award show to condemn the Recording Academy for failing to give her the Best Album award despite already being one of the most decorated artists of all-time.
