Jeremy Clarkson has responded after ‘breaking a huge rule’ on the celebrity special of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
The ITV game show saw Anton Du Beke, 58, Fred Sirieix, 53, and Roxy Shahidi, 41, attempt to win money for charity in the latest episode.
However, when it was the First Dates host’s turn to answer the quiz questions, he found himself struggling at the very first question, worth £100.
Jeremy, 64, asked: ‘Which of these is a method for staying afloat in a swimming pool? Treading water, drinking water, boiling water or pᴀssing water.’
Fred, who’s daughter recently won a bronze medal in synchronised diving at the Paris Olympics, began to deliberate between the answers and said, ‘So, definitely not drinking water, can’t be boiling water, so it’s either pᴀssing water or treading water.’
He used the 50/50 help which removed boiling and drinking water, leaving him stuck.

Afterwards, one viewer posted on X: ‘Is that allowed @Jeremy Clarkson is giving away the answer on #Millionaire.’
To which the presenter responded with: ‘Not really. But it was for charity and it was low down the ladder.’
In the end, Fred won £64,000 for his charity The Right Course, which helps train prisoners in the restaurant and hospitality industry.
The French TV personality posted on X: ‘Thanks so much for having me. The money will make a big difference in our quest to train, educate and upskill offenders in one of our training restaurants @MoJGovUK.’

Earlier in the show, Anton was left bewildered after stumbling over a question about dance.
The beloved Strictly judge and professional dancer was quizzed by Jeremy in a bid to raise money for their charity The Sick Children’s Trust.
Despite the ballroom star dominating the first few rounds of the ITV game show, he ended up failing a £32,000-question related to his own field.
The question read: ‘Which Tony-Award winning musical features a mash-up called Elephant Love Medley, with the possible answers being Hairspray, The Book of Mormon, Moulin Rouge! and Six.
Struggling to come up with the correct answer, the author asked he audience to use his 50/50, but eventually chose The Book Of Mormon as his ultimate choice.

‘If i get this wrong, I’m going to give the charity £15,000 of my own money,’ Anton sweetly added.
But host Jeremy gave Anton the bitter news: ‘That’s just cost you £15,000,’ and revealed Moulin Rouge! was instead the right answer.
‘You wait until I tell my wife!,’ poked fun the Strictly alum, while the TV presenter quipped: ‘I’m afraid this is going to go on television.’
