Jessica Simpson has hinted new music is on the horizon following her shock split from husband Eric Johnson.

The Dukes Of Hazzard actress, 44 – whose new music is slated to be released in just weeks – uploaded snaps of herself inside a recording studio while putting the album together, which she has called the ‘soundtrack to my soul.’ 

Last month, a source informed DailyMail.com that the star had ‘already recorded a heartbreak album’ after her separation from Johnson. 

At the time, Simpson issued a statement to People to reveal she and Eric ‘have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage.’

In the carousel of images, the mother-of-three could be seen sitting inside a spacious recording studio while surrounded by an ᴀssortment of lit candles. 

She lounged on a low couch while various posters were situated in the background as possible inspiration for some tracks.

Her blonde locks effortlessly flowed down past her shoulders and the star placed headphones on top of her head. 

In front of Simpson was a microphone and the pictures showed the singer belting out lyrcis for the album. 

Jessica opted to not add any caption to the images – which she also uploaded to her Instagram stories. 

However, social media users quickly jumped to the comment section to share their thoughts and excitement over the star’s upcoming music. 

Simpson’s last LP was dropped 15 years earlier in 2010 and was a holiday album тιтled Happy Christmas.

She moved to Nashville in 2023 to record some of the album, and also in L.A. at Henson Recording Studios.
