The Masked Singer’s Mo Gilligan had claimed he thinks the A-lister behind the Bear masked is a close friend of his following Saturday’s episode.

And ITV fans are in full agreement as they have claimed that Bear is the easiest celebrity to guess the idenтιтy of.

The fan-favourite compeтιтion sees celebs wear elaborate costumes as they perform while taking on the persona of an animal or object to hide their idenтιтy, with the judges having to guess who they are.

When they are voted out by the studio audience and the judges, the famous faces are prompted to remove their masks and reveal who they really are.

Throughout the show, Bear has offered a variety of clues for reality show viewers and said: ‘The stage is set, the audience awaits, and I am hungry for the compeтιтion.’

During the first show, the character also revealed a riddle that read: ‘I’m walking the stage and displaying my toil, but I’m also at home amongst flowers and soil.’

The character – who performed Shaboozey’s Tipsy – gave hints about Australia, football and yawning, which lead to viewers to suspect the animal is rapper Example.

One fan penned: ‘Masked Singer, Bear is 100 percent example (Elliot Gleave)! He’s a Fulham fan, he has a song with Ed Sheeran about chicken and he’s got a song called Kickstart. He’s the easiest one!’

And while fans appear convinced that Bear is Example, the claims have came just after an EastEnders star dropped a mᴀssive hint that he could be The Masked Singer’s Bear character, after he suffered an awkward blunder during a live interview.

Bear in particular is leaving viewers scratching their heads, with some of the most popular guesses including Anthony Head, Don Warrington, and Brian Cox.

However, Soap star Richard Blackwood, 52, whose name has also been mentioned, seemed to slip up and seemingly confirm it could be him.

At the end of a Good Morning Britain interview last week, the presenter jokingly asked the actor: ‘Just quickly, before we finish, are you doing The Masked Singer?

‘Because you’re getting loads of attention about it this week. Can you exclusively reveal it to us?’

Appearing panicked by the on-the-spot question, he got flustered and stumbled over his words.

Richard mumbled: ‘I could… because you made me feel so good and stuff. No, I can’t, I can’t. But the moves and the way I… I mean, that’s how I would do it.’

Host Richard Madeley then asked: ‘Why do you think everybody thinks it’s you?’

The EastEnders star laughed: ‘The Bear has swag. I’m looking and thinking thats how I would do it.’

Viewers who also guessed it could be the soap star, wrote on X: ‘Bear is the most difficult one to figure out this year. I’m going to go with Richard Blackwood, but only because I know that he’s got a new tour coming up. #MaskedSingerUK.’
