Lottie Moss says that she is ‘so different’ from her sister Kate Moss.

The OnlyFans star, 27, had an infamous feud with her elder half-sibling for a number of years and now she has explained how she had to bear her sister’s name ‘heavily’ in the early days of her career.

She told The Sunday Mirror: ‘When I started modelling, I carried it quite heavily. Now I’m just known as me… it doesn’t follow me around so much.

‘I grew up going to LA and spending time with people who had famous parents, and it’s funny-people think you have to be like that person. 

‘You can be different from your siblings, and me and my sister are so different.’

Kate and Lottie endured a fractious relationship for some time, and in 2023 Lottie claimed that the catwalk star, 51, wouldn’t even reply to her.

At the time, she noted that she ‘doesn’t really know’ her older half-sister, with their relationship so distant ‘she doesn’t reply to my texts.’

She claimed in a  a self-penned essay, that while her sister provided her a useful stepping stone, she was determined to make her own money herself and used her earnings to pay for private schooling 

The pair were once so so close that Lottie was a bridesmaid at Kate’s wedding and even moved into her sister’s Cotswolds mansion during the Covid pandemic.

However, tensions soon grew over Lottie’s wild ways that saw her regularly taking drugs five times a week, which was a huge red flag to Kate who had ditched her own partying days.

Kate’s love of boozing, which reportedly extended to flutes of prosecco at 8am and glᴀsses of wine and vodka at lunch, saw friends coin her the nickname ‘The Tank’, but in recent years she’s embraced yoga, wellness and quiet nights in.

Their lifestyle clash came to a head between the pair during lockdown, when Kate invited Lottie to stay at her Cotswolds mansion.

An insider told Page Six: ‘Kate was frustrated because Lottie kept on wanting to drink and posting Sєxually provocative stuff on Instagram all the time.

‘It isn’t easy for Kate to be around people who are drinking, and she definitely won’t be around anyone who is using cocaine.’

Kate was famously dubbed ‘Cocaine Kate’ when she was pH๏τographed snorting the substance in 2005, while dating Pete Doherty, who has made no secret of his own past drug use and addiction to heroin.

In September 2024, they publicly healed their rift when this pH๏τo was posted on social media

When Lottie finally departed the star’s home ‘in a foul mood’, she reportedly left behind two bottles of her sister’s favourite bottle of wine which was interpreted as a ‘f**k you’ gesture.

But it seemed as if things were finally looking up with the family as Kate made a very public statement that the rift had been healed by posing with Lottie for a social media snap towards the end of last year.

Kate perched on the edge of a table during her father’s 80th birthday celebrations – when fans noticed another significant member of the party.
