Jessica Biel celebrated Justin Timberlake’s 44th birthday with an eyebrow-raising Instagram post on Friday.

The 7th Heaven alum, 42, got honest in the post as she recognized that they have  faced some bumps in the road over the years since walking down the aisle nearly 13 years ago.

‘Another year to make memories that I keep sacred in my heart,’ she captioned her post. ‘Another year of joy and challenges being a parent with you. Another year together being curious and creative in the world.’

She continued: ‘Another year growing and evolving and sometimes devolving, with you. Another year laughing about it all.’

The mother-of-two concluded her post by writing: ‘Happy birthday my love.’

Timberlake showed his approval of the post as he commented: ‘I love you so much.’

Jessica and Justin started dating in 2007 and got married in 2012. They went on to welcome sons Silas, nine, and Phineas, four.

In June 2024, the Sєxy Back singer was arrested for driving under the influence. 

Timberlake was pulled over shortly after midnight after he ran a stop sign in Sag Harbor, New York. 

Police reportedly followed him and observed his vehicle swerving across the road, leading them to pull him over.

Timberlake reportedly smelled strongly of alcohol once police stopped him. He performed a field sobriety test, but he reportedly refused to take a breathalyzer test.

In September, he pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of driving while impaired and was given a $500 fine and sentenced to 25 hours of community service of his choosing. 

As part of his plea deal, the What Goes Around… Comes Around vocalist urged drivers not to get behind the wheel of a car after even a single alcoholic drink, shortly after pleading guilty. 

‘I try to hold myself to a very high standard, for myself, and this was not that,’ Timberlake told the news media and other onlookers after his hearing at the Sag Harbor Village Court.

‘Even if you´ve had one drink, don´t get behind the wheel of a car,’ he said. ‘There´s so many alternatives. Call a friend. Take an Uber,’ he said. 

‘There´s many travel apps. Still, take a taxi. This is a mistake that I made, but I’m hoping that whoever is watching and listening right now can learn from this mistake. I know that I certainly have.’

The NSYNC star made similar comments during the court hearing and said he grew up in a small town and appreciated the kind of strain his arrest has made on a community like Sag Harbor.

In October, it was revealed that the couple were working to move past the incident, which reportedly upset and embarrᴀssed Jessica.

‘They’ve been married for a long time,’ and ‘have to work on their marriage like most couples,’ an insider told People. 

The source said that ‘being working parents is never easy,’ complicating potential issues in the relationship, but overall, ‘they’re both relieved that it’s in the past.’

The insider said that the Can’t Stop the Feeling! vocalist and the Candy star ‘are both committed to staying married’ despite the obstacles.

Timberlake referenced Biel during his October 4 show at the Bell Centre in Montreal, noting their 12th wedding anniversary.

‘It’s also a very special evening for me: My wife is here tonight. And tonight is our 12-year anniversary. So be nice to her, Montreal, because she’s sharing me with all of you guys tonight,’ he said during the show.

Timberlake placed his hand on his chest and told Biel, ‘I love you, baby.’

Biel reposted a clip of the romantic exchange on Instagram Stories that read, ‘Wouldn’t want to spend it anywhere else.’
