Lauryn Goodman has revealed she is ‘speaking to professionals’ as she prepares to tell son Kairo ‘the truth’ about his dad Kyle Walker.
The TV personality, 33, shares two children, son Kairo, four, and daughter Kinara, 19 months, with the England defender, 34, who’s daily lives he claimed he has ‘nothing to do with.’
The Manchester City player, 34, – who also shares four children with his wife Annie Kilner – has now discussed how it affects her son.
Speaking in an interview with The Mirror on Saturday, she explained: ‘I’m in that transition stage at the moment where we haven’t fully crossed over to the truth.
‘For the whole year it’s been very much “your dad’s playing football, he’s training.” Then one day Kairo started crying his eyes out saying ‘I miss my dad, I miss my dad,’ then he started getting angry and said “He’s not at football; he’s not playing today.'”
‘I asked him how he knew and he said another child had told him that Man City weren’t playing that day.’

Lauryn admitted that she ‘couldn’t keep on going like that’ and is now speaking with therapists to find a path forward.
A source told MailOnlie: ‘All the Walkers want is for each family to get on with their own lives, independently and positively.’
Recently Lauryn claimed Kairo ‘subconsciously sees his dad Kyle as very far away’ after he drew a family picture.
The influencer revealed Kairo had drawn Manchester City footballer Kyle ‘miles off the page’ in a family portrait done at school.
Speaking on her podcast Yours Sincerely, Lauryn said: ‘When I say to him, “who’s his family?”, he always says, “me, Kiki, and him”,’ she said. ‘That’s what he classifies as his family.’
In the drawing, Kyle was at the far end of the page – which Lauryn said a ‘play therapist’ had informed her meant that Kairo sees his father as ‘very far away, there but not there’.
Having spotted a ‘My Family’ letter written by Kairo at school, Lauryn said: ‘So it was a real shock to me when I was sitting there in the class just minding our own business, learning phonics and learning maths with them, and I turned to the right, and this just literally wiped me out.

‘I think when you’re going through everything, it kind of just hits you that hard doesn’t it?
‘It [his picture and bio] said “Daddy plays football, but I am the bestest at football in the whole wide world, and mummy sleeps with me at bedtime. Kiki likes holding my hand”.’
She then turned her attention to the picture he had drawn to go with the letter, as she said: ‘He drew this picture, and it had Nana, mummy.’
‘So it’s me, nana, Kiki and Cairo, Kiki’s so tiny as well, anyway… miles away, nearly off the page, is his dad.’

Lauryn continued: ‘It’s interesting, because I went and met with a play therapist after and I was talking to her about this picture, and she said that actually, kids, you learn a lot about kids with how they draw and what they write about and what they draw about.
‘And I’ve never really thought about it, because obviously, when Kyra was younger, the drawings used a whale or a football or not really family orient people. This is the first time I’ve seen this. It’s it literally took me by surprise.
‘But she said it’s really interesting that he’s drawn his dad. He couldn’t be any further away from us, all of us, if he tried. He wouldn’t even, yeah, he’d be off the page.
‘And she said that subconsciously, that’s what he he’s, well, he views his dad that he’s very far away, as in, he’s there but not there.’
