She shocked fans in December when she shared the news that she had parted ways with her husband of 10 years.
And now Fearne Cotton, 43, has revealed that she is still having therapy ‘every week’ because she ‘berates’ herself and ‘falls into self-loathing.’
In the latest episode of her podcast Happy Place, the broadcaster and mother-of-two admitted: ‘It’s something that I definitely don’t want to miss, I don’t feel I could miss actually.
‘Stuff from the past that still troubles me greatly that I need to constantly find tools to land on some peace with,’ the mother-of-two confessed.
The podcast episode, released today, compiled several Happy Place conversations, aiming to highlight the positive impact of therapy on mental health.
One snippet included Fearne’s conversation with Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock who spoke on the ‘horrible moment in time’ that Jesy Nelson, 33, quit the band.

The broadcaster underwent an operation to remove two benign tumours from her jawline at the same time as her marriage breakdown from Jesse Wood last year
‘Losing a member, we needed something. We had to have therapy,’ the singer admitted.
The 33-year-old also admitted she felt ‘less than’ and ‘invisible’ during her time in the chart-topping girl group, and that having a black therapist was vital to her healing process.
‘I am having therapy and I think for me it was really important to have a black woman because sometimes you want to just be able to talk and not feel like you have to explain.
‘It’s exhausting enough talking about race, it’s so tiring,’ the singer said.
In another conversation snippet, Leigh-Anne’s former bandmate, Perrie Edwards, revealed to Fearne that she brings her therapist to work.
‘It got so bad I had to ask my mum if she was going to put me in a mental insтιтute,’ the singer confessed.
The 31-year-old opened up about the terrifying depths of her anxiety as she admitted: ‘My anxiety started when we as a band were in Las Vegas a few years ago when something happened. I’d been having panic attacks for a while.
‘I thought I was dying, my heart hurt and I went to hospital and they were like ‘what drugs have you taken’ and I said ‘nothing!’

The podcast release comes as Fearne revealed that she was ‘getting in touch with some very suppressed anger’ just weeks after announcing her split from husband Jesse Wood, 48.
The news of her divorce came just days after she disclosed a health scare, revealing she had discovered two tumours on her jawline.
In the statement revealing the split, Fearne told fans that their priority was their children.
‘It’s with a heavy heart that I let you all know that Jesse and I are ending our marriage,’ Fearne told her 3.9 million followers on Instagram.
‘Our priority has been, and will always be, our children.’
Fearne reportedly feared for her marriage for some time before announcing the couple’s split.
It has emerged that the couple had faced challenges for several years, with Fearne previously admitting that their marriage had been ‘suffering’ as far back as 2019.

Speaking at the time, Fearne said Jesse’s demanding schedule with his band Reef had put a strain on their relationship which left them desperately ‘clinging onto their marriage’ in an unearthed interview.
Just this week the star confessed to an incident where she ‘completely wet [herself]’ mid-exercise.
The presenter admitted that while she has always loved running, her body has naturally changed over the years as she grows older.
‘I’ve always loved running but it’s definitely changed flavour over the years,’ she wrote in the caption.
‘I may not be as fast or able to control my pelvic floor but it still makes me feel great.’
Reflecting on her younger years, Fearne said that she could once run ‘effortlessly’ for 5km in just 30 minutes.
Her post was quickly flooded with comments from fans who praised the star for being open and honest.
They said: ‘Welcome to my World – minus the wetting myself bit but sure that’s round the corner,’
‘You gotta fight for your right (knee),’ ‘Love this! Go Fearne,’ ‘Onwards we run, slower … to the same tunes,’ ‘Glad you still felt great from it, it’s funny how running can give you so many challenges but it is something I always go back to and love!’
