Ben Affleck was spotted taking his middle child Fin for a driving lesson around Los Angeles in his BMW. 

The Batman actor, 52, looked nervous as he sat next to the 16-year-old, who was pictured behind-the-wheel of his luxury car. 

At one point Affleck — who was recently seen trying on a ‘DunKings’ Donuts jersey — had one hand on the the window frame and another placed over his chest.

Having turned 16 on January 6th, Fin — born Seraphina Rose Elizabeth – is now old enough to get a driver’s license in California. 

Aside from Fin, Affleck also shares daughter Violet, 19, and son Samuel, 12, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 52.

Their outing comes amid reports that Affleck and Garner are now ‘spending more time together than ever since they divorced’ as per Page Six.

The duo — who were married from 2005 until 2015 — ‘are closer than they’ve ever been since their divorce’ a source told the publication.

News of their close bond comes after Affleck recently settled his divorce from his second wife, Jennifer Lopez, 55.

‘Particularly since Ben’s divorce from [Lopez] and with the LA fires and everything going on,’ Affleck and Garner ‘have found themselves leaning on each other more than ever’ the source said.

Both Affleck and Garner’s homes in Brentwood were spared in the Palisades Fire, though Affleck was among those who had to evacuate, as the blaze crept dangerously close to his home. 

He raced to Garner’s home after being evacuated, as the duo live a short distance from each other. 

The source added that the pair ‘really do have a close bond.’

They acknowledge their amicable and ‘amazing’ relationship is rare among exes and ‘they feel very grateful.’

Though things were ‘understandably rocky’ between them after their divorce, they ‘built a close friendship’ over the years and ‘and are on the same page in a lot of ways.’

The duo also feel like it’s in the best interest of everyone involved for them to have a good relationship. 

The insider added that the couple’s children ‘really enjoy spending the holidays and family time together’ and that the family is a ‘really great cohesive unit.’

Affleck joined Garner and their three kids for Christmas last month. 

The duo also spent Thanksgiving together in November. 

Affleck, Garner and their kids volunteered with Midnight Mission, as they helped to feed 2,000 homeless and near-homeless people in downtown Los Angeles during the non-profit organization’s annual Thanksgiving brunch. 

As they lent a helping hand, the two-time Oscar winner and actress could be seen whispering to one another and wearing matching aprons.

They both appeared in high spirits as they served their community with a smile.

Earlier this month it was reported that Affleck and Lopez have settled their divorce – five months after their shock split on their second wedding anniversary.

The former pair, who wed in 2022, will officially end their marriage on February 20, with the pair each walking away with what they individually acquired during their brief union, DailyMail.com can confirm.

The pair have also reached an agreement on their $61million Beverly Hills mansion they bought together, although the terms will remain private.

The former couple wed without a prenuptial agreement – with their cumulative wealth sitting at $550million, with Lopez’s ᴀssets accounting for $400million of their wealth treasure chest.

The actor-director and singer-actress eloped at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas on July 16, 2022 – 18 years after breaking off their first engagement in 2004.

The couple again exchanged vows at Affleck’s estate outside of Savannah, Georgia on August 20 that year.

The role appears to have irked Miller too, who understands they have children, but reportedly doesn’t like ‘sharing’ her.

‘John doesn’t like sharing Jen and there is a divide when it comes to her and Ben,’ a source told DailyMail.com.

The source added that Miller is not fearful that the former couple will spark up a romantic connection again, but has simply struggled with how much energy Garner has put into her ex.
