Some viewers of The Chase were frustrated after tuning in to watch Wednesday’s show.
When fans watched the popular ITV quiz show, hosted by Bradley Walsh, 64, they expected to see a new episode.
The episode was listed as ‘new’ in television schedules, however, viewers were disappointed when they realised it was an episode that had been previously shown.
The instalment featured Jon, Rachel, Sian and Noel as they attempted to win a cash prize.
In the end, Noel and Jon played against Chaser Jenny Ryan, known as the Vixen and lost.
However, some fans took to social media to express their frustration at the repeated episode.

One posted a pH๏τo of the television schedule on X with a comment: ‘”NEW” #TheChase Don’t think so. This is a repeat!! @ITV garbage.’
Another said: ‘This is a repeat #thechase.’
While a third chimed in: ‘Tv #theChase not a new episode an old episode.’
Someone else said: ‘Get your act together ITV, this episode was only aired about a week ago ffs… #thechase.’
A fifth said: ‘Just turned on… probably already been noted, but this “new” The Chase, is definitely a repeat #thechase.’
MailOnline has approached ITV for comment.
It comes after fans were left unimpressed after another recent episode when a player offered advice to her teammates.
After forensic collision investigator Nathan, 44, earned £5,000 in the cash builder round and played for the same amount, he was caught out by Chaser Mark Labbett, known as The Beast.
Some fans took to social media to express their frustration at the repeated episode
Product designer Olivia, 32, went next and played it safe when going against The Beast, opting for a lower £1,000 offer, saying: ‘I think I’ve bottled it a little bit since Nathan, so I’m going to be a coward and go for the one I reckon.’
Mark responded: ‘In this situation it’s eminently sensible.’
The product designer managed to beat The Beast with ease and secured the £1,000, as well as a place in the final.
However, Olivia came under fire when she encouraged her fellow teammates, Michaela, 52, and Martyn, 27, to go for higher offers.
When teacher Michaela was offered the choice between £1,000, £4,000 and £60,000, Olivia said: ‘Go big.’

To which Mark quipped: ‘How can you say that?!’
She said the same again when Martyn had to choose between £1,000, £7,000 and £85,000 and said: ‘Go 85!’
Her advice and play saw backlash from some viewers on social media, who took to X to express their opinions.
The Chase airs on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
