Katy Perry has revealed that her four-year-old daughter Daisy loves one of her very rude songs.

The singer, 40, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday night where she wore a Sєxy all-leather look and spoke about her daughter starting to listen to some of her catchy tunes.

She shares Daisy with her fiancé Orlando Bloom and will be taking her on parts of her world wide Lifetimes Tour later this year. 

Speaking about Daisy listening to some of her songs she told host Jimmy: ‘She knows one song of mine that I don’t want her to know. Peacock. 

‘This is my karma after torturing people with this song. I got her a peacock dress up outfit from the zoo and she dresses in it and dances around to that song.’

Peacock was released on her Teenage Dream album in 2010 and features an obvious innuendo in the lyrics.

Elsewhere on the show she spoke about the tour and how things will be different this time around now that she is a mum. 

Katy said: ‘I last toured in 2017 and now I have a four year old so this time will be a bit different. It will be her first time around the world. 

‘I’m now going to start my shows earlier at 8.30pm because I now understand the importance of bedtime and I used to start shows at 9.30pm. I will be considering all mothers around the world.

‘It will be a full on dance party and I am excited to reconnect around the world. My daughter came to see me in Vegas and she likes to see me happy and performing.’

She looked great in her leather look on the show which featured a strapless studded top and matching trousers which she wore with boots. 

It comes after Katy revealed the unlikely place she stored her positive pregnancy test, after she discovered she and fiancé Orlando were expecting their daughter.

She welcomed her daughter Daisy Dove in 2020, and has now shared that she’s hung onto the first test she took to find out she was pregnant.

Reflecting on her most iconic Instagram posts in an interview with Capital FM, Katy shared that she keeps the test in a drawer next to the fake ears Orlando sported when he starred as Legolas in the Lord Of The Rings films.

Elsewhere on the show she spoke about the tour and how things will be different this time around now that she is a mum

Showing a snap of the positive test, she explained: ‘Here is my pee stick for one of my children, I conceived my daughter Daisy Dove Bloom. 

‘I remember, Orlando was gone and I facetimed him when I was on a hike and I was like ”guess what!” 

‘We had wished for her so much and set every intention and we just got our biggest gift. It was the best decision I’ve ever made. And I still have it. And that’s weird, but it’s not and I don’t care.’

Asked where she’s kept the test, she added: ‘Oh, it’s in a drawer with lots of things. You know what else is in the drawer. It’s probably next to Orlando’s Legolos ears. Just all the most important things.’

Katy then moved onto a beaming selfie she’d taken with Taylor Swift, explaining: ‘This is when I went to the Eras Tour in Australia! I actually went and did a show in Australia and I went really quickly and had one day off before the show and I was like, okay girl I’m going to go to the show and I was so excited. 

‘People gave me bracelets and I think Rita Ora gave me a bracelet. I loved it, it’s like a community, it’s an adorable, sweet community and I got to see her and got to catch up, and I love her [Taylor Swift] so much.’

2024 was a year of change for Katy. She ended her seven year run on American Idol in May and her highly anticipated album, 143, was a dismal failure. 

Variety said the LP ‘strips away the remnants of the perky personality,’ that endeared Perry to so many of her fans. 

The record debuted at number six on the Billboard charts, but was out of the top 200  within two weeks.  

NME called the first single, Woman’s World, which was released in July, the ‘most disastrous comeback single in recent memory.’ 

That she worked on the song and most of the album with controversial producer Dr. Luke, who was sued by Kesha for Sєxual ᴀssault, charges he denied, did not sit well with many of her fans.

The Rise singer explained that she was under contractual obligation to work with the producer and there would have been legal consequences if she had not. 

Her latest single, No More Tears For New Year’s, was included on the extended 143 album, called 1432.

The longer playing album was released December 20 and also includes the previously unreleased singles I Woke Up, Has A Heart, and OK.

No More Tears For New Year’s reached number 1 on December 31 in Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador and Jordan, according to iTunes.
