Christina Haack revealed her ‘moody’ estranged husband Josh Hall was insecure about her relationship with her ex Tarek El Moussa.

The situation became so tense, Haack said, that Hall would often give her the ‘silent treatment for days’ if she laughed with Tarek at their kids’ sporting events—Tarek being the father of two of her three children.

In Wednesday’s premiere of The Flip Off, a visibly upset Haack recounted her painful split from Hall to Tarek, emphasizing that Josh’s jealousy had been an issue.

‘You make him very insecure,’ Christina told Tarek. 

‘Every time we would barely joke at soccer, or if I laughed at you, he would not speak to me for like two to three days. I would get the silent treatment.’

Josh, who filed for divorce from Christina in July 2024 after nearly three years of marriage, was initially set to co-star on The Flip Off but exited after their breakup.

Christina and Tarek’s marriage ended in 2016 after a tense incident involving Tarek fleeing with a gun and entering rehab, but despite a rocky co-parenting journey, they’ve largely maintained a positive relationship since.

In the premiere episode of The Flip Off, the two also tearfully forgive each other ‘100%’ in emotional confessions.

‘I know we’re in a good place now,’ Christina said. ‘But yeah, we went through a lot of stuff. I don’t think anyone understands just how much stuff we went through. We met when we were so young.’

She went on to explain how deeply the split affected her, sharing, ‘When our stuff imploded, I felt like not only did I lose… we were best friends, but also I felt like I lost like, I need to be a full-time mom. 

‘And that really, really, really hurt me a lot and really affected me.’

Tarek, visibly moved, acknowledged his role in their pain, saying, ‘I understand that feeling of being a little bit lost. 

‘And I acknowledge that I’m a big part, if not the entire part, of all of this.’

Christina’s voice shook as she apologized, ‘I’m really sorry for s—. I really am. I just want you to know that,’ wiping away a tear. 

She asked, ‘You forgive me?’ He responds, ‘A hundred percent, yeah.’

Tears well in Christina’s eyes as she asks again, ‘Promise?’ Tarek nods, his own emotions surfacing. ‘A hundred percent. I did a lot of things too. I hold zero against you.’

The moment takes an even more tender turn when Christina expresses pride in Tarek’s growth, saying, ‘You’re a great dad. I’m really proud of you. You’ve come a really long way. I can see it, you know. You’re so much calmer, you’re so much wiser, for real.’ 

Tarek, deeply moved, covers his face as tears well up.

The former couple shares two children together—14-year-old daughter Taylor and 9-year-old son Brayden.

Christina also has a 5-year-old son, Hudson, with her second ex-husband, Ant Anstead.
