Gogglebox star Daniel Lustig has revealed whether he would get married again following splitting from ex husband Stephen Webb just nine months ago.

The Channel 4 stars shocked their fans when they announced they were getting a divorce in April 2024 after six years of marriage.

Now Daniel has revealed what he would do next time he decides to tie the knot with a new significant other after marrying Stephen in a lavish south of France ceremony. 

Speaking on series five of Celebrity Skin Talk with Scott McGlynn, who played James Corden’s stag in Gavin & Stacey, Daniel said he has been dating. 

He said: ‘I’ve been on a few dates here and there, I am old school I do like to meet people in person, in the park walking the dogs, if I see a guy I ask if he’s got pooh bags.’

Daniel revealed he would like to next time get married in a small London registry office ceremony with only a handful of friends in attendance.

He continued: ‘Well me and Stephen’s wedding was in south of France very beautiful, but yes I would get married again but I would like more of a London wedding.

‘You know in a register office with 5 friends, and go out with friends after for a nice meal, nice and relaxed one.’  

It comes after Daniel recently revealed that he and ex Stephen are still living together as he opened up about their ‘traumatic’ and ‘devastating’ shock split.

Speaking on Best’s Suddenly Single podcast, Daniel revealed he and Stephen, 53, are still living under the same roof while they continue to sell their apartment.

He said: ‘We’re still living together. We’re trying to sell our apartment. We cohabit really well together. (The split) was quite a slow process, for a while we were still sleeping in the same bed. 

‘Then when Stephen went on Celebs Go Dating we agreed we’d sleep in separate bedrooms.

‘We’ve found a way to work together, live together and be dog dads. It’s always been about friendship. 

‘As soon as we started dating, I said, “this guy is so different to me” but we got on so well, even though we came from completely different backgrounds.’

Stephen and Daniel are still on good terms and are currently still living together and the pair both running their hair salon together

Talking about their split, he added: ‘It was devastating. For me, it was traumatic and although I knew things weren’t great, I didn’t see it coming. 

‘It was quite a slow process because we were completely entwined for so long, with our businesses, the dogs, we were so close in everything we did.

‘There was nothing underhand happening, no-one had slept with anyone else. Stephen was the complete opposite to me, and we’d say opposites attracted, but fundamentally that was our problem in the end.’

Stephen and Daniel are still on good terms, with the pair both running their hair salon together. 

At the time of their split, Daniel said: ‘We’ve made the decision with a very heavy heart to confirm our marriage has come to an end.

‘I’m sure we will forever be friends.’

Stephen first appeared on Channel 4 show Gogglebox more than a decade ago in 2023 alongside his ex-boyfriend Chris Ashby-Steed.

When the couple split, Stephen remained on the programme with his late mother Pat.
